摘要: Systems and method for low-power gaze prediction on touch-enabled electronic devices using touch interactions are provided. The method includes receiving an input touch interaction applied to a touch interaction area on a touchscreen display of a touch-enabled device and obtaining, by a gaze prediction module, a predicted gazing area on the touchscreen display based on the input touch interaction. A touch-enabled device has a processor, a touchscreen display and memory storing instructions to carry out the method. The gaze prediction module may utilize a model based on Bayesian inference or convolutional neural networks. Advantageously, gaze prediction is achieved without the use of image-capturing devices and with low power consumption. This can be used to develop intelligent hands-free interactions and personalized recommendation systems.

摘要: Wireless sensing units, methods, systems, and processor-readable media for obtaining pressure data relating to one or more pressure locations of a surface area are described. A wireless sensing system includes a pressure monitoring device communicating with modular wireless smart floor tiles using RFID, either using an RFID reader or wireless network interface (e.g., 802.11). The tiles incorporate passive or active RFID tags. The tiles can be powered wirelessly, e.g. by a built-in piezoelectric power unit or by a wireless power source using magnetic resonance. A data capture circuit in each tile collects and saves the data for transmission to the floor pressure monitoring device. Various software applications can be enabled by the smart floor system, including fall detection and prediction, gesture input, intrusion detection, and user location tracking for smart home automation.

摘要: Devices and methods for optimizing electronic device usage by visualizing access history on a display of the electronic device while the device is in sleep mode are provided. The electronic device usage alert method includes collecting electronic device access history on an electronic device, obtaining electronic device access statistics from the electronic device access history, generating a visual representation of the electronic device access statistics, and displaying the visual representation on an always on display (AOD) of the electronic device. The AOD is active only when the electronic device is asleep. Reducing usage of electronic devices or certain applications have many advantages including mitigating the user addiction of electronic devices or applications.

The method further includes receiving a manipulation action of at least one attribute field control, updating an attribute value in response to the manipulation action, and updating the visible list portion based on the attribute value. The method may be used with touchscreen displays, and with virtual or augmented reality displays.

摘要: A method of managing user interface items in a visual user interface (VUI) is disclosed. In one aspect, the method comprises displaying a VUI screen on a display. The VUI screen comprises a scrollable area comprising a plurality of selectable items. The VUI screen provides a pin holder located at an edge of a display area of the display. The state of the pin holder and the second pin holder persists in response to changes in a visual state of the scrollable area. A selected item in the plurality of selectable items is pinned to the pin holder in response to detection of a pinning command. A visual state of the scrollable area is changed in response to detection of corresponding input. A pinned item corresponding to a selected pin from the pin holder is unpinned in response to detection of an unpinning command.

摘要: Methods, devices, and processor-readable media for scaling up graphical user interface (GUI) elements on a smart watch touchscreen based on the initial position of a stroke gesture, thereby facilitating selection, by a user, of a target GUI element. The user only needs to perform one stroke action to select the desired target. During the procedure, GUI elements of the main screen are scaled up to make target selection easier, and the GUI elements are automatically reset to their original size when the procedure is complete. To achieve this result, a “stroke with initial position” gesture is used to select a target.

摘要: The present invention provides a catalyst for generating hydrogen containing at least one composite metal selected from the group consisting of a composite metal of platinum and nickel and a composite metal of iridium and nickel, the catalyst being used in a decomposition reaction of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hydrazine and a hydrate thereof; and a method for generating hydrogen, including contacting the catalyst for generating hydrogen with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hydrazine and a hydrate thereof.According to the invention, hydrogen can be efficiently generated with improved selectivity in the method for generating hydrogen that utilizes the decomposition reaction of hydrazine.
