摘要: An exhaust aftertreatment system, EATS, for converting NOx emissions in exhaust gases from an engine. The EATS includes a fluid channel for providing a fluid pathway for the exhaust gases; a selective catalytic reduction, SCR, catalyst arranged in the fluid channel, the SCR catalyst being configured to store ammonia; an injector configured to inject a reductant for providing ammonia to the SCR catalyst, the injector being arranged upstream of the SCR catalyst; a fluid flow inducer configured to cause an induced fluid flow in at least a part of the fluid channel when the engine is turned off; and a controlling apparatus configured to precondition the EATS prior to engine start by injecting the reductant into the fluid channel, and transport the reductant into the SCR catalyst by the induced fluid flow to store ammonia in the SCR catalyst.

摘要: A method performed by a control unit in connection with a pre-heating process of an aftertreatment system for a combustion engine is provided. The control unit obtains a scheduled start time of the combustion engine. The control unit schedules a pre-heating of the aftertreatment system to be completed before the scheduled start time. The control unit detects a start of the combustion engine at an actual start time. In response to the detected start of the combustion engine, and using the actual and scheduled start times, the control unit determines whether the scheduled pre-heating of the aftertreatment system fulfils one or more success criteria. When the one or more success criteria are fulfilled, the control unit triggers a performance increase of the combustion engine.

摘要: A method for controlling the operation of an engine system in a vehicle upon engine start. The engine system includes an engine and an exhaust aftertreatment system having a selective catalyst reduction, SCR, catalyst and a reductant dosing system for providing a reductant to the SCR catalyst. The method comprises: determining the temperature of the SCR catalyst; in response of determining that the temperature of the SCR catalyst is above a predetermined threshold, initiating pressurising of the reductant dosing system towards a predefined operating pressure; performing a preventive action for delaying engine start until the operating pressure of the reductant dosing system is reached.

摘要: A method for NOx emission control during start of a vehicle comprising an exhaust aftertreatment system, an engine, and a NOx sensor is provided. The method includes determining a temperature of the NOx sensor; if the determined temperature of the NOx sensor is below a predetermined threshold, initiating heating of the NOx sensor, and performing a preventive action for delaying engine start until a determined temperature of the NOx sensor exceeds or is equal to the predetermined threshold.
