    摘要: A segmented fluid end is provided, the fluid end comprising a plurality of fluid end segments, each comprising a plunger manifold, intake head, and pressure head. In preferred embodiments, the fluid end comprises three fluid end segments (“triplex”) or five fluid end segments (“quint”). The plunger manifold comprises first and second mounting surfaces, each comprising a fluid opening. An intake head mounting flange is adapted to be removably coupled to the first mounting surface and a pressure head mounting flange is adapted to be removably coupled to the second mounting surface. The plunger manifold comprises a plunger mounting member comprising a plunger opening adapted to receive a plunger. The pressure heads are adapted for cooperative coupling to adjacent pressure heads, such that, when coupled, the pressure heads are in fluid communication with one another. Methods of replacing the fluid end segments, plunger manifolds, pressure heads, and intake heads are provided.

    摘要: The anti-cavitation device comprises a housing and valve assembly. A fluid end comprises one or more intake chambers, one or more exhaust chambers, a compression chamber, a plunger chamber, and one or more intake manifolds. The intake manifolds are fluidly connected to the intake chambers such that the intake manifolds are adapted to deliver the hydraulic fracturing fluid to the intake chambers. The intake chambers comprise intake valve assemblies adapted to regulate flow from the intake chambers to the compression chamber. One of the intake chambers comprises an anti-cavitation chamber positioned across from and co-planar with the plunger chamber. The anti-cavitation device is positioned within the anti-cavitation chamber. A method of reducing cavitation is provided, the method comprises the step of inserting the anti-cavitation device into the access opening of the fluid end. The anti-cavitation device may be used in existing, previously used, or new fluid ends.

The pony rod cap may have an outside configuration comprising one or more flat sides. The crossheads may comprise one or more wear bridges cooperatively coupled with one or more crosshead extension members. A connecting rod is adapted to receive a wear plate such that the wear plate is removably coupled to the connecting rod. A reciprocating pump comprises a multi-piece pony rod assembly. A method of repairing a pump is provided, in which a modified pony rod comprising an outer sleeve is provided and a modified crosshead comprising one or more wear bridges is provided.
