Abstract: A trim breaker for sealing an outer wrapper of an appliance with an inner liner to form an insulation space therebetween is provided. The trim breaker also includes a front wall coupled with the body opposite the rear wall, wherein the front wall includes a channel extending inward toward the rear wall, and a chamber defined at least in part between the front wall and the rear wall.

Abstract: A camera assembly includes an insulating block for mounting the camera against a surface in contact therewith and aligned with an opening through the surface. The insulating block defines an aperture therethrough, a lower side of the aperture being aligned with the opening in the surface. The assembly further includes a sink washer mounted to the insulating block in partial contact therewith and extending outward from the top side of the aperture. A camera is mounted to the sink washer and has a lens directed through the aperture in the insulating block and through the opening in the surface. A glass substrate is coupled within the lower side of the aperture to enclose an air gap within the aperture between the glass substrate and a housing of the camera.

Abstract: A separator circuit for a steam generation system. The separator circuit comprises a steamer connection tube and a liquid bin tube that extends vertically between a steam outlet for providing steam to a cavity of a cooking appliance and a recirculation tube for routing condensation back into the provided steam generation system. A slide tube is sloped downwardly from the steamer connection tube to the liquid bin tube for gravitationally accelerating condensation from the steamer connection tube through the liquid bin tube and into the recirculation tube. A vortex section is located between the slide tube and the liquid bin tube and includes a choke wall. The choke wall extends from a first end decreasing a cross-sectional flow path of the vortex section to a second end in a direction of the liquid bin tube.

Abstract: A dedicated self-cleaning cycle for a camera for imaging a cavity of an oven is provided. An indication is received to perform a localized pyrolytic cycle to clean a view port glass protecting an image sensor of the camera from heat or detritus in the cavity of the oven. Responsive to the indication, a camera viewport heating element configured to provide localized heating to the view port glass is operated to perform the localized pyrolytic cycle. The camera is utilized to view the cavity of the oven.
