Abstract: A convection oven is provided. An oven cavity is defined by at least by a top wall, a left side wall, a right side wall, and a door configured selectively open and close the oven cavity. An air channel defines a convection airflow out of and back into the oven cavity, the top wall defining an air inlet to allow the convection airflow to enter the air channel from the oven cavity, the walls further defining a plurality of outlets to allow the convection airflow to exit the air channel and reenter the oven cavity. Each of the plurality of outlets houses a corresponding one of a plurality of heating tubes, each corresponding heating tube being mounted along the convection airflow exiting the air channel.

The coating includes a base polymer material defining a matrix, carbon nanotubes, and ferrite particles. The carbon nanotubes and the ferrite particles are dispersed throughout the matrix in a predetermined relative ratio and in a predetermined dispersal ratio with respect to the matrix.

Abstract: A microwave oven includes a housing defining an interior cavity, a magnetron positioned within the housing and outside of the interior cavity and a micro-wave antenna in electrical communication with the magnetron and positioned adjacent a lower surface of the interior cavity. The microwave oven further includes a heating plate that includes a glass-ceramic substrate defining at least a portion of the lower surface of the interior cavity. The heating plate further includes a resistive-heating coating applied on a portion of the glass-ceramic substrate and defining at least one open micro-wave transmissive path from the micro-wave antenna to the interior cavity.

Abstract: A microwave heating apparatus is disclosed. The heating apparatus comprises a cavity comprising a ceiling and a bottom support plate. The cavity is arranged to receive a food load.
