摘要： Parts which cannot fall because of their dimensions through an opening of a lower tool are separated from a workpiece plate in a cutting press with an immovable support, a coordinate table, two lateral workpiece supports movable parallel to the y-axis and a transverse carriage displaceable in the direction of the x-axis and having clamping elements, and with a central workpiece support of a plurality of articulately connected supporting elements displaceable in the direction of the y-axis so that a discharge opening for the separated part of the workpiece plate is openable or closable, in such a manner that first a cutting tool separates a workpiece part so as to retain at least one connecting web between separating edges of the workpiece plate and the workpiece part located transverse to the direction of movement of the central workpiece support, the workpiece plate and workpiece support being positioned by the coordinate table above the discharge opening, and before opening of the discharge opening the connecting web is removed by displacement of the central workpiece support from the workpiece plate with the aid of a special separating device on the cutting press.

摘要： A cutting press equipped for handling and treating or working plate-shaped workpieces or articles, especially of sheet metal, includes at least one cutting tool which is driven from a main drive of the machine through transmission components and its own driving arrangement. An additional severing arrangement is mounted on the same machine frame and is equipped with its own driving arrangement, the transmission members being selectively coupleable with the cutting tool and with the severing arrangement. The machine further includes a coordinate table for advancing the respective workpiece. An entraining arrangement is provided at the part of the machine frame which is associated with the severing arrangement and at the region of the workpiece which is free from the severing tools. The entraining arrangement is arranged above a support surface for the workpiece which extends in the same plane as the support surface of the coordinate table and is lowerable toward the workpiece. The entraining arrangement is operative for transporting the respective workpiece from the severing arrangement to a following conveying arrangement.

摘要： A cutting press for treating plate-shaped workpieces includes a coordinate table and a stationary support which surrounds the working area of a cutting tool. A central workpiece support is mounted on the coordinate table for movement in lateral guides of the latter toward and away from the stationary support independently of the movement of the coordinate table, so as to open and close a discharge opening between itself and the stationary support. The central workpieces support includes a plurality of elongated support elements extending transversely of the direction of movement of the central workpiece support in the lateral guides and articulately connected in series to one another. Driving units are provided which act on the ends of the movable central workpiece support for moving the same relative to the coordinate table. A device for expelling cut-out parts of the original workpiece from the latter into the discharge opening is mounted above the area of the discharge opening for movement between a lifted position in which the expelling device is remote from the central workpiece support and a lowered position in which it acts in the downward direction on the workpiece. The expelling device includes a pressure plate and a plurality of elastic elements mounted on the lower side of the pressure plate and acting on the workpiece in the lowered position. ,

摘要： An arrangement in a revolving press for withdrawing or inserting a tool holder carrying a punch from and into an opening in a turntable of the press when the tool holder turns with the turntable to an exchange position. The tool holder is in the exchange position temporarily held by a slide engaging a tool holder head projecting upwardly from the tool holder. A guide member substantially aligned with the axis of the tool holder in the exchange position carries at its lower end a gripping claw in such a manner that when the guide member is lowered while the slide is withdrawn, the claw will engage the tool holder head. Thereafter the guide member is raised, moving the tool holder out of the opening in the turntable and finally the tool holder is manually removed from the guide member so that a new punch can be mounted thereon, whereafter the tool holder is moved in reverse direction back into the opening of the turntable.
