    摘要: The invention involves a multi-drive tool for use on a fabricating press having a table with multiple stations. Each station can include a mount opening passing through the table. The multi-drive tool can have a bridge member relating to at least two drive members such that a ram stroke of the press simultaneously moves the drive members or components thereof in a direction toward the workpiece. The invention also involves a die shoe adapted for use on a press. A die-mounting recess configured to receive a die is formed in the top of the die shoe. The invention also provides a fabricating press in combination with a multi-drive tool, as well as methods of fabricating a workpiece.

    摘要: A multiple punch and multiple die assembly has a workpiece protector comprising a punch lifter that is operatively associated with each punch for supporting each of the punches in an inactive position as an active punch is moved by the ram to the active, i.e. operating position to thereby eliminate scoring or marking of the sheet material or other workpiece that is being punched. To eliminate the need for hand tools and hand assembly or disassembly, a manually moveable retainer on the punch assembly is provided that can be moved by hand between a punch-releasing and punch-retaining position for holding the punches within the multi-punch assembly during operation. To prevent stress fractures that formerly occurred in die carriers, support of each die is distributed between two different die components thereby reducing impact stress on the carrier as the ram drives the punch through the workpiece.

    摘要: A method for processing sheet metal includes processing and forming a sample and a blank on a work while leaving a microjoint part in a blanking process. The method also includes detecting at least one of a plate thickness of the work in an optional position and a spring-back amount of the sample during bending. Information of at least one of the plate thickness and the spring-back amount is transmitted to a controller of a bending machine in a bending process after the blanking process. Bending is performed by calculating a ram control value in bending using data of at least one of the transmitted plate thickness and the spring-back amount.
