Abstract: A pre-stressed air bearing includes: a seat member having a seat body and an adjustment section outward extending from a connection end face of the seat body along a geometrical central axis thereof by a predetermined length, an extension end of the adjustment section being slidably connected with a platform, at least one air passage being formed in the seat body, the air passage having at least one air outlet formed on a working end face of the seat body opposite to the connection end face; at least one reception section formed on the working end face in the form of a recess; at least one magnetic member received in the reception section; and a resilient section slidably disposed on the adjustment section between the seat body and the platform for providing a resilient force to keep the seat body spaced from the platform by a buffering gap.

Abstract: A chain protector for a linear motion processing machine comprises a first protecting assembly and a second protecting assembly. The first protecting assembly includes a holding space for accommodation of a chain, and the second protecting assembly includes a limiting space for accommodation of the first protecting assembly. The chain is protected by the first protecting assembly and the second protecting assembly that are made of different materials against the severe working environment. The first protecting assembly is connected to a negative pressure system by pipe to eliminate the dust generated by the mechanical operation, thus maintaining a clean work environment.

Abstract: A lifting mechanism with self-locking function, including an ascending/descending seat, a rocking member pivotally connected with the ascending/descending seat, a guide section and a prestressing section. The rocking member serves to convert a horizontal force provided by a power source into a vertical force to up and down reciprocally move the ascending/descending seat in the direction of Z-axis. The guide section includes guide members, which can be cross roller ways for guiding the ascending/descending seat to ascend/descend. The prestressing section can be adjusted to change the gaps between fixed guide rails and movable guide rails of the cross roller ways. Accordingly, the sliding friction between the fixed guide rails and the movable guide rails can be adjusted to provide auxiliary locking force for locating the ascending/descending seat.
