摘要： Disclosed are methods of controlling cell cycle progression by introducing into a cell to be controlled a composition selected from the group consisting of p56RB protein, a fragment of the p56RB protein, and the gene encoding p56RB protein to alter the cell cycle progression while maintaining the viability of the cell. The p56RB protein has been found to have the unexpected and surprising characteristic of being soluble in low concentrations of glycerol, thereby enhancing its value in pharmaceutical applications and the gene encoding p56RB when delivered to the hyperproliferating cell inhibits cellular proliferation.

摘要： A novel packaging wrap is used in cushioning a product for shipment and is formed from the combination of a layer of pleated sheet material, the pleated material being creased at the apices of each pleat, and a planar layer of sheet material which is adhered to, and preferably, adhesively bonded, to a pleated sheet of kraft paper. The pleated sheet material has a weight in the range from about 30 to 50 pounds and the planar sheet material is preferably tissue paper having a weight of less than about 20 pounds. The pleated sheet material preferably, has a pleat angle in the range from above 45 degrees to below 85 degrees, and most preferably the pleats have an angle of about 50 to 65 degrees. Preferably, the pleats have a height in the range from about 3 sixteenths of an inch to about one half inch, in terms of distance between top planar sheet and bottom planar sheet.

To use the box, the formed box which has been stored in a flat configuration, is unfolded to a substantially rectangular or square configuration by folding at least one flap panel about its fold line to a position superadjacent a central panel and conforming the container to a hexagonal cross-section. In this configuration the box retains its hexagonal cross-section and can be self supporting in a vertical position, in order to facilitate the filing operation.

摘要： A retention package is formed from a tray member containing a retention member which includes a stiff board and a flexible, stretchable film attached to end panels of the stiff board. The end panels are folded under thus pulling the film taut for retaining an object between the film and the stiff board. The stiff board has two vertical walls that abut the interior of two walls of the tray member. An end cap is placed over the tray member thereby forming an enclosed retention package. The end cap is provided with kick plate means for holding the two vertical walls against the interior of two walls of the tray member.
