    摘要: This invention relates to a process for the filtration of liquors containing organic solvents in dry cleaning using natural and/or synthetic layered silicates prepared with one or more ammonium compounds corresponding to the following general formulaR.sup.1 R.sup.2 R.sup.3 R.sup.4 N.sup.+ X.sup.- (I)wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represent hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl groups which may optionally be substituted and X.sup.- represents anions of water-soluble, highly dissociated acids, in a quantity of from 2 to 60% by weight.Settling filters or cartridge filters are charged with the layered silicates thus prepared either alone or in combination with kieselguhr and/or active carbon, and solvent mixtures used in dry cleaning are filtered through the prepared filters.The invention also relates to filtration aids for use in the filtration of cleaning liquors from dry cleaning systems which are characterized in that they comprise natural and/or synthetic layered silicates prepared with quaternary ammonium compounds corresponding to general formula (I) above in a quantity of from 2 to 60% by weight, in combination with kieselguhr and/or active carbon.

    摘要: The present invention provides synthetic, finely divided water-insoluble layered silicates having a smectite-like crystal phase, with increased contents of bound alkali and silicate and a distinctly reduced swelling power in aqueous suspension relative to pure layered silicates of this type. The synthetic layered silicate of this invention has the following oxide summation formulaMgO.aM.sub.2 O.bAl.sub.2 O.sub.3.cSiO.sub.2.nH.sub.2 Owherein M is selected from the group consisting of sodium and a mixture of sodium and lithium said mixture having a molar ratio of sodium to lithium of at least about 2,n represents the number of water molecules bound in the crystal phase, anda, b, c and n each represent a number having a value within the following ranges:a is from about 0.05 to about 0.4b is from 0 to about 0.3c is from about 1.2 to about 2.0, andn is from about 0.3 to about 3.0.

    摘要: The invention relates to alkaline cleaners containing two components A and B, component A being a strongly alkaline solution comprising mostly alkali metal hydroxides and employed in an excess, component B being a concentrate comprising an aqueous silicic acid dispersion containing anionic, nonionic or amphoteric tensides, builder substances, stabilizers and optionally inorganic mineral acids, complexing agents and/or preservatives. Component B contains, as an active ingredient, adjusted to a pH in the range of from 1 to 11, a silicic acid dispersion obtained in situ by treating an alkali metal silicate solution with a mineral acid or a gas reacting acidically in aqueous solution. The dispersions also contain stabilizers, tensides and builder substances. If desired, additional agents conventionally contained in cleaning concentrates may also be added. The invention also relates to processes for preparing such cleaners by treating an alkali metal silicate solution with a mineral acid or a gas reacting acidically in aqueous solution and adding tensides, stabilizers and builder substances thereto.
