摘要： A stacking device for sheet material such as banknotes and receipts has a stacker drum with a suction opening at a predetermined location on the periphery. The suction opening grips the leading edges of the sheets to be stacked at a first tangential position and releases the sheets against a stopper at a second tangential position. The stacker drum has air openings on the periphery behind the suction opening. The air openings discharge pulsating compressed air to separate the portion of the sheets trailing the leading edges from the drum.

摘要： In a high-speed sorter, single documents such as banknotes are successively withdrawn from a stack and tested according to various criteria. Banknotes which are authentic but no longer fit for circulation are fed to a cutting means a shredder and destroyed therein. The shredder, which has a simple construction and is designed for a high banknote throughput, consists of two cutter blocks including overlapping cutter discs which work into one another with little play in spaced relationship and are provided along their periphery with notches, and which slit and crosscut the banknotes. A suction plant prevents back-ups from forming, cleans and cools the cutting means.

摘要： A device for stacking sheets comprises several disks arranged adjacent to each other on a driving shaft, the disks having spiral slots running from the outside towards the inside. The spiral slots of the disks overlap in an axial direction and together form a pocket into which the sheets conveyed. In order to guarantee trouble-free stacking of the sheets, the spiral slots of adjacent disks are staggered at least in the inner area of the stacker. Therefore, almost all the kinetic energy of a sheet which is inserted into the shot is issipated by frictional and flexing. The spiral slots of one or more disks may additionally be provided with elastic boundary walls.
