摘要： A technique for generating a digital photograph comprises blending two related images, each sampled according to a different illumination environment. The two related images are blended according to a blend surface function that includes a height discontinuity separating two different blend weight regions. Color consistency between the two related images is achieved by spatial color correction prior to blending. The technique enables a digital camera to generate a strobe image having an appearance of consistent color despite discordant strobe and ambient scene illumination.

摘要： A technique for generating a digital photograph comprises blending two related images, each sampled according to a different illumination environment. The method comprises sampling evaluation images comprising an ambient evaluation image and a strobe evaluation image, enumerating exposure requirements for each image comprising the image set, selecting exposure coordinates for each image comprising the image set based on a corresponding exposure requirement and a corresponding evaluation image, generating camera subsystem exposure parameters for each image comprising the image set based on corresponding selected exposure coordinates, storing camera subsystem exposure parameters for each image comprising the image set, sampling each image comprising the image set based on corresponding camera subsystem exposure parameters, and storing each sampled image comprising the image set. Techniques disclosed herein advantageously reduce inter-frame time for images sampled sequentially, and in particular image sets that include both ambient and strobe images.

摘要： Transforming an earphone system from a topology comprising loose ends to a topology comprising one or more loops inhibits knot formation. A cable management device provides for coupling an electrical jack to one or more earbuds comprising the earphone system, thereby eliminating topological loose ends and consequently inhibiting knot formation by eliminating opportunities for knot nucleation at the topological loose ends. A user may conveniently configure their earphones for storage by coupling the electrical jack to each earbud prior to storage. Upon retrieval from storage, the user is advantageously relieved from needing to unknot their earphone system.
