TO 150.degree. C. Advantageously the temperature is about 50.degree. to 90.degree. C and about 1 mole of the phenol, about 1 to 1.2 moles of the 1,2,4-triazole and about 2 to 3 moles of the acid-binding agent are used per mole of the dihaloketone.
