摘要: An oven appliance includes a two or more cooking chambers positioned within a cabinet and a heating assembly for independently and selectively heating those chambers. A controller is configured to obtain a cooking time for each cooking chamber, determine preheat statuses for each chamber, and generate adjusted cooking times for each chamber based at least in part on their respective preheat statuses. The heating assembly then heats each cooking chamber for its adjusted cooking time such that the heating processes in all cooking chambers end simultaneously.

摘要: Embodiments of this disclosure reduce an oven's emission of volatile organic compounds when air frying. The catalyst does not require a self-contained heating assembly but instead is adapted for connection to at least one of a suction side and a discharge side of the circulation fan. The catalyst may be in the form of a screen or a foil bundle and have a mass loading of 10 g to 75 g per cubic foot of catalyst volume. The screen is sized for connection to the circulation fan and includes a corrugated pattern and coated with the catalyst on at least half of the screen. The foil bundle has a cell density in a range of 20 cells to 50 cells per square inch and is sized for location in a corner of the heating elements. The foil bundle can include a slew or herringbone cell pattern.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a monitoring system including a detecting device configured to detect at least one of smoke and heat, an alarm in operable communication with the detecting device, wherein the alarm is configured to notify a user after the detecting device detects at least one of smoke and heat, a sensing structure configured to determine whether a heating apparatus has a temperature that is above a threshold, and a processor in operable communication with the sensing structure and at least one of the detecting device and the alarm, the processor configured to at least one of turn off at least one of the alarm and the detecting device; and reduce the sensitivity of the detecting device, when the sensing structure determines that the heating apparatus has a temperature that is above a threshold.
