摘要: In an internal combustion engine having an exhaust system with a turbocharger including an exhaust gas turbine disposed in the engine exhaust duct, a bypass line connected to the exhaust duct upstream of the turbine including a valve for diverting exhaust gas flow and bypassing the turbine, the valve includes a valve body having first and second exhaust gas flow control openings of different flow cross-sections and being adjustable between a first position in which the first flow control openings is in communication with the exhaust gas duct, a second position in which the second flow control opening is in communication with the exhaust gas duct and a blocking position in which exhaust gas bypass flow through the valve is blocked.

摘要: An internal combustion engine has compression ignition, in which fuel is injected as a pre-injection and main injection directly into a working space by means of an injection nozzle having a plurality of injection holes, with the pre-jection taking place in a clocked manner. In order to minimize the moistening of the walls of the combustion chamber, a combustion chamber is provided, in which are arranged an injection nozzle in the region of a cylinder center axis in the cylinder head and a piston recess arranged in the piston head, with an approximately centrally situated piston recess projection being arranged in the piston recess. The stroke of a nozzle needle of the injection nozzle is set in such a manner that a restricting of the range of the injected fuel jets is obtained.

摘要: In an internal combustion engine having at least one cylinder, in which a combustion chamber is delimited between a piston and a cylinder head, a fuel injector, is arranged in the cylinder head and has an injection nozzle with a plurality of injection bores. A piston depression is arranged in the piston, and a compression projection, with a projection cone angle, is positioned opposite the injection nozzle in the piston depression. The injection bores are formed such that, during a fuel injection in a range from 20° CA before top dead center to 35° CA after top dead center, the fuel jets emerging from the injection bores with a fuel cone angle impinge on the piston depression and are guided by a piston depression surface. The injection bores and the compression projection are formed such that a generated ratio of fuel cone angle to projection cone angle is in a range between 0.95 and 1.36, so that the injected fuel mass is distributed uniformly within the piston depressions, and a mixture of fuel with combustion air is intensified.
