First and second impurity regions spaced apart from each other are formed in the active region. A gate trench region crosses the active region between the first and second impurity regions and extends to the isolation region. A first contact structure having a sidewall in vertical alignment with a sidewall of the gate trench region adjacent to the first impurity region is provided on the first impurity region. A second contact structure having a sidewall in vertical alignment with a sidewall of the gate trench region adjacent to the second impurity region is provided on the second impurity region. A gate electrode is provided in the gate trench region. A gate dielectric layer is interposed between the gate trench region and the gate electrode.

摘要： A device for detecting a battery within a charger includes a battery detector and a regulation voltage controller that limits a battery charging terminal voltage to a battery regulation voltage. The battery detector generates a battery existence signal if a battery charging terminal voltage is not greater than a battery detection reference voltage at an end of a predetermined time period. The battery charging terminal voltage is limited to a normal mode value of the battery regulation voltage if the battery existence signal is generated. The battery detector also detects for removal of the battery after the battery regulation voltage is set to the normal mode value during charging.

The control method and apparatus remarkably reduces a deviation in the cooking periods by distinguishing the ascending slope-type foods from the descending slope-type foods. The control method and apparatus allows the microwave oven to appropriately cook food for a period of time which substantially matches a practically required cooking period, thus providing a good cooking result.

An aspect of the present invention is to increase convenience of a user by identifying a kind of an accessory, such as a wire rack, a crumb tray or the like, present in a cooking cavity based on a variation in an inner temperature of a cooking cavity at an initial operating stage of a cooking mode using the heaters and automatically performing the ON/OFF control mode of the heaters suitable for a corresponding accessory. A cooking apparatus is provided including two or more heaters installed in a first position of a cooking cavity heating food, the crumb tray is inserted in a second position of the cooking cavity and is used to contain the food in cooking modes using the heaters, and a temperature detection unit is installed between the first and second positions to detect an inside temperature of the cooking cavity. When a temperature variation rate of the cooking cavity detected by the temperature detection unit is greater than a preset value, the crumb tray is determined to be used as a cooking accessory, so an ON/OFF state of the heaters is controlled to be suitable for the cooking mode using the crumb tray.
