A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for monitoring a device asset of a customer via a mobile endpoint device are disclosed. For example, the method detects one or more devices of the customer via the mobile endpoint device, registers the one or more devices that are detected with an asset management system, wherein the asset management system is located remotely from the one or more devices, monitors the one or more devices and transmits one or more operation parameters associated with the one or more devices to the asset management system.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for preventing traffic accidents. Video can be captured from a camera integrated with a traffic light signal located at the intersection. The video can be processed to determine if an accident is likely to occur based on images contained in the vide and particular factors. Drivers of vehicles in the vicinity of the camera/traffic light can be alerted if it is determined that an accident is likely to occur, thereby allowing the drivers to take corrective action to prevent the crash from occurring.
Abstract:
A system and method for transmitting device status information from a first internal network, through a first internal network firewall, over an external communications network and to a second network wherein the first internal network includes a marking device and a computing device having a memory. Usage data is collected from the marking device and compared to previously stored usage data to determine the validity of the collected usage data to provide a comparison result. The comparison result is used to determine whether the collected usage data can be transmitted from the first internal network, through the firewall, and through the external communications network to the second network.

When printing 3D objects designed by a particular designer, authentication information such as a serial number and a digital signature of the designer are inserted into a CAD file for printing the object. The authentication information is represented as physical structures in or on the 3D-printed object. The physical structures (e.g., pits, cavities of one or more shapes, etc.) can be detected by a scanner (e.g., an ultrasound or the like), and the detected authentication information can be transmitted to an authentication server that determines the authenticity of the 3D-printed object and transmits the authenticity determination to a user.

For example, the apparatus includes a document receiving device to receive an original document, a computer readable memory to store one or more topics that are predefined by a user and a translation dictionary, a document analysis device in communication with the document receiving device to analyze the original document based on the user to identify the one or more topics that are predefined by the user, and a summary document generator to generate the summary document that includes the one or more topics, a location of the one or more topics in the original document and a translation of the one or more topics obtained from the translation dictionary.

Methods and systems for managing services for disabled persons. A tracking database can be created and updated with information from a number of databases or with information based on an elapsed time. A smart tag can be issued to a disabled person upon request by processing and analyzing data contained in the tracking database. Information with respect to status of the smart tag can be viewed by enforcement authorities to detect the validity of the smart tag. The smart tag can be automatically activated or inactivated by mapping data from the tracking database to prevent fraudulent usage. The smart tag can be configured with a universal handicapped logo and a panic alert button for alerting a response service when the disabled person is in an emergency situation.
Abstract:
This invention provides an instantaneous method for a user or traveler to obtain a meaning of a symbol that is unfamiliar to said user. The symbol is captured in a format that is easily transmitted to a remote database server. Together with the symbol, the GPS coordinates of the location of the symbol must be sent to the server. The server performs an image matching search, and then uses the location information (GPS) to resolve multiple matches and to determine the meaning of the symbol and instantaneously transmits in the language of their choice the meaning to the user requesting the search.
