Abstract: Some aspects of the present disclosure enable a network to account for impacts of digital transmit and receive precoding at the user equipment (UE) side in the presence of UE self-interference that may occur during full duplex (FD) operation. Some aspects of the present disclosure include joint downlink (DL) node selection or beam selection, or both, and UE self-interference emulation, so that the UE is enabled with FD operation that includes receiving from one node, but transmitting towards another node. When compared with the case where the UE receives from, and transmits, to a same node, because when two separate nodes are involved and the two nodes are more physically separated, the chance of achieving higher cross-link isolation, and hence FD transmission, is higher.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a location management function that receives, from a sensor system, a sensing-based profile that includes a sensing-based observation of a UE and receives, from a communication system, a reference-signal-based observation of the UE. The location management function may derive, from the sensing-based observation, a position hypothesis and may determine, from the reference-signal-based observation, UE identity information for the UE. By processing the reference-signal-based observation in conjunction with the sensing-based observation, the location management function may determine an association between the sensing-based observation and the reference-signal-based observation. The location management function may then transmit, to the UE having the UE identity information determined from the reference-signal-based observation, an indication of the position hypothesis derived from the sensing-based observation.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for integrated communication and sensing. For example, an electronic device may transmit a radio frequency (RF) pulse signal in the active phase of a periodic sensing cycle, and sense in the passive phase of the sensing cycle, a reflection of the RF pulse signal reflected from an object. The RF pulse signal is defined by a waveform for carrying communication data between electronic devices. The sensed RF pulse signal is at least a portion of the transmitted or reflected RF pulse signal, wherein the portion is equal to or greater than a threshold value for the object being within a sensing range of the first electronic device. The electronic device may also receive a communication signal from another electronic device during the passive phase.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides detailed specifications related to user equipment (UE) aggregation. As an example, a virtual UE (VUE) configuration, also referred to as a configuration for UE aggregation, that can be used by multiple UEs participating in UE aggregation may be communicated in a wireless communication network. The configuration may indicate, for example, that the UEs are to participate in UE aggregation, and indicate a first UE for splitting or combining data. In some embodiments the configuration may indicate protocol stacks for the multiple UEs to participate in UE aggregation, and an anchor point. The anchor point is associated with a layer in the protocol stack of a first UE of the multiple UEs, and implements data splitting and/or aggregation. As an alternative to the specific example of an anchor point, a configuration may indicate a function for splitting or aggregating data.

Abstract: One embodiment of coordinated multiple relay link wireless communication with User Equipment (UE) cooperation involves coordinating, with a primary relay link between a UE and a wireless communication network, configuration of a secondary relay link between the UE and the wireless communication network; and communicating signaling to enable configuration of the secondary relay link in accordance with the coordinating. After the primary relay link and the secondary relay link have been configured, communications with the UE are coordinated over the primary relay link and the secondary relay link. Other embodiments may involve first and second relay links for a UE, and such relay links for a UE may be between the UE and a wireless communication network, or between the UE and another UE in the case of UE-to-UE relay links.
