A device may generate a frame comprising a payload having a payload size associated with a number of bits. The device may determine a low-density parity-check (LDPC) codeword size based on the payload size. The device may calculate a number of codewords based on the payload size. The device may calculate a number of shortening bits and a number of LDPC padding bits based on the number of codewords. The device may calculate a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for containing the number of codewords. The device may cause to send the frame with the number of OFDM symbols to a station device.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an enhanced hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). A device may determine two or more HARQ medium access control (MAC) frames. The device may determine a difference between a first number of bits of a physical layer (PHY) codeword and a second number of bits of a first HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may generate, based on the difference, a third number of bits, wherein the first number of bits is equal to a sum of the second number of bits and the third number of bits. The device may generate an aggregated MAC frame comprising the first HARQ MAC frame, the third number of bits, and a second HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may send the aggregated MAC frame.

摘要: This disclosure describes mechanisms for performing rate matching in low-density parity check (LPDC) codes in a wireless network. A device may generate an Aggregated Media Access (MAC) Protocol Data Unit (AMPDU) payload having an AMPDU payload size associated with a number of bits. The device may omit pre-Forward Error Correction (FEC) padding of the AMPDU payload at a MAC layer by indicating the AMPDU payload size in a physical layer (PHY)-specific preamble. The device may then generate the PHY-specific preamble comprising the AMPDU payload size without the pre-FEC padding. The device may also calculate a number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for containing the number of bits and transmit the PHY-specific preamble and the number of OFDM symbols to a station device.

The device may send the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU to the second device in the 20 MHz sub-channel, wherein the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU includes the tones.

The device may select sign bits comprising the second portion and a first subset of the parity bits. The device may send the amplitude bits with the sign bits to a modulator before transmitting the frame to a first station device.

摘要: An apparatus for a station (STA) configured for operating in a next-generation (NG) wireless local area network (WLAN) comprises the processing circuitry configured to modify probabilities of constellation points to generate a more Gaussian distribution. In these embodiments, for LDPC framing and OFDM packing, the transmitter circuitry may be configured to compute a number of output bits (bout) to be transmitted based on a number of payload bits (bin) at an output of a shaping encoder, a shaping rate (rshaping), and an overhead percent (Boverhead). A shaping gain of up to 1.53 dB may be achieved. A new shaping encoder is provided to address the issue that the number of bits is not fixed.
