摘要: A press machine is provided that can accurately detect load acted on a frame. A frame 1 includes an upper horizontal frame 1b, a lower horizontal frame 1a, and a vertical frame 1c arranged to connect the upper horizontal frame 1b and the lower horizontal frame 1a. A press drive mechanism 8 is provided to the upper horizontal frame 1b. A strain generation member 23 is arranged across from the upper horizontal frame 1b to the vertical frame 1c. In the strain generation member 23, an intermediate portion 23a has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than those of end portions 23b, 23c fixed to the upper horizontal frame 1b and the vertical frame 1c, respectively. A strain amount detecting body 24 is attached to the intermediate portion 23a of the strain generation member 23 in order to detect a strain amount.

摘要: A two axis machine tool suppresses vibrations between two processing machines and provides a self vibration suppressing effect resulting from increased rigidity and increased mass. The two axis machine tool includes first and second separate and independent machine beds and processing machines mounted respectively on the first and second machine beds, and the first and second machine beds are connected together through vibration suppressing units. Each of the vibration suppressing units includes a viscoelastic body sandwiched between first and second plate members secured respectively to the first and second machine beds.

摘要: A resonator for internal combustion engines, having an enclosed chamber of predetermined volumn connected to an intake duct by a tubular connecting member which is composed of an external member and an internal member. The internal member is disposed within the external member and moved by an actuator which is controlled by an electrical signal corresponding to a resonant frequency calculated by a computer in synchronism with engine rotational speeds. The resonator thereby functions to absorb resonant noises from the engines by appropriately changing the length and/or cross-sectional area of the tubular connecting member.

摘要: An apparatus that improves safety by detecting work gripping abnormalities in a work holder. A rod 21a of an air cylinder 21 vertically moves and a work holder 34 opens and closes by the movement of the upper movable gripping arm 34a using the rotation point 34c as a fulcrum. A strain gauge 4 is affixed to the upper surface of the upper movable gripping arm 34a. The detection results of this strain gauge 4 are sent to a determination device 2 via a strain amplifier 3. When this detection result exceeds an abnormal level, the determination device 2 determines a work gripping abnormality and transmits a work holder abnormality signal to an NC device 1. When the NC device 1 receives an abnormality signal, is quickly carries out processes which stop the machine.
