摘要: To provide an inexpensive wastewater treatment method which facilitates downsizing of tanks and requires less withdrawal of an excessive sludge, the use is made of an aeration tank 1 in which wastewater is contacted with a particulate carrier under an aerobic condition, and a total oxidization tank 3 in which the volume of a sludge generated in the aeration tank 1 is reduced under an aerobic condition, a coefficient of self-oxidization of the sludge flowing into the total oxidization tank 3 is set to 0.05 (per day), and the method includes a step of adding a coagulant to the total oxidization tank 3 for the purpose of improving the solid-liquid separating characteristic of the sludge within the total oxidization tank.

摘要: A method of wastewater treatment that reduced equipment cost and running cost and realizes high efficiency implementation and further tank miniaturization, and that reduces excess sludge withdrawal. There is provided a method of wastewater treatment with excess sludge withdrawal reduced, characterized in that there are installed an aeration tank wherein wastewater is brought into contact with carrier particles under aerobic conditions, a total oxidization tank and a sedimentation tank, and that operation is made while maintaining the BOD sludge load in the total oxidization tank at 0.08 kg-BOD/Kg-MLSS*day or smaller, and that a coagulant is charged in the complete oxidization tank in order to improve the setting in the sedimentation tank.

摘要: A position indicator comprises a case having a housing portion and an opening; a rod with a substantially bar-like body and an end and housed in the housing portion such that the end of the rod protrudes outside the case through the opening; and a sealing member attached to the opening and having an aperture into which the rod is inserted such that a gap between the aperture and the rod is sealed. A position detecting system comprises a position detecting device having a plurality of superimposed coils, a processing unit; and a position indicator. When the indicator approaches the position detecting device, a signal is induced by one of the coils, and the processing unit determines a position of the indicator based on the signal and a coordinate of the coil that induced the signal.

摘要: In a crystallized glass article consisting of crystallized glass masses fusion bonded together and having a principal surface, said principal surface having a surface pattern determined by said masses in a surface layer including said principal surface, said small crystallized glass masses in said surface layer are mainly of flaky crystallized glass pieces, each being a relatively large flattened piece, said flaky pieces overlapping one another at random to make said principal surface rough, said crystallized glass masses in another layer adjacent to and fused to said surface layer being considerably smaller than said flaky pieces. The article is produced by preparing flaky pieces and the smaller masses both of a SiO.sub.2 --Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 --CaO crystallizable glass, putting the former pieces on a bottom of a mold to form a flaky-piece layer, then putting the latter masses on the flaky-piece layer to form a small-mass layer, and heat treating the both layers at a temperature higher than a softening point of the crystallizable glass to fusion bond the pieces and masses together as well as crystallizing the glass.

摘要: A crystallized glass article with a colored surface pattern, which comprises a crystallized glass substrate having a surface and small glass masses having a color different from the substrate and dispersed and fusion-bonded in the surface to form the colored surface pattern. The crystallized glass article is produced by depositing and dispersing small glass masses with a color on a surface of a substrate of a crystallizable glass with a different color which can precipitate crystals therein with softening and deforming by heat-treating at a heat treating temperature higher than the softening point of the crystallizable glass, then heating the substrate together with the small glass masses at the heat treating temperature.
