摘要: A gas sensor in which respective terminal leads are fitted and connected to respective electrodes on inner and outer circumferential surface of a hollow, cup-shaped detection element When a leading end connecting portion of a terminal lead (71, 91) is disposed on the front end side of a separator (111) and an intermediate portion (74, 94) extending from the rear end of the leading end connecting portion is inserted into a hole (113), a spring tab (77, 97) provided on the intermediate portion (74, 94) is pressed against a second wall surface (117) of the hole (113), whereby an engagement portion (76, 96) is pressed against a first wall surface opposite the second wall surface (117). The first projection (118) is formed on the first wall surface of the hole (113) so that it can come into contact with and support a first face (76b, 96b) of the engagement portion (76, 96) on opposing lateral sides of the spring tab (77, 97).

摘要: A sensor includes: a detection element including an internal electrode and an external electrode; an electrode terminal member; and a support member. The electrode terminal member includes: a base end portion supported by the support member; an electrode contact portion contacting the internal electrode or the external electrode; and a connection portion having a rear end connected to the base end portion and a front end connected to the electrode contact portion. A distance between the front end of the connection portion and the base end portion in a state where the electrode terminal member is assembled with the support member and separated from the detection element is equal to a distance between the front end of the connection portion and the base end portion in a state where the electrode terminal member is assembled with the detection element and the support member.

摘要: An improved piezoelectric sensor for detecting pressure, vibration, acceleration or the like physical quantity is disclosed. The pressure sensor to be attached to a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine includes a main body adapted to be attached to the cylinder and defining an axially extending hole therewithin, a diaphragm attached to one end of the main body for closing the hole; and a piezoelectric element disposed within the hole so that the pressure within the cylinder is transmitted to the piezoelectric element through the diaphragm. The piezoelectric element is a circular or polygonal disc with a thickness of 0.3-1.5 mm and is formed of a single crystal piezoelectric ceramic having a Curie temperature greater than 500.degree. C., such as LiNbO.sub.3.
