摘要: A starter driving semiconductor switch apparatus energizes and de-energizes a starter according to a command from an outside. A series circuit to which semiconductor switches are connected in series is provided between a battery serving as a power supply and the starter. The starter is energized by bringing all the semiconductor switches into conduction. A voltage or a current at a predetermined point in the series circuit is monitored to make a self-diagnosis on whether the starter is allowed to start and whether there is a failure in the semiconductor switches according to a monitor output. The starter driving semiconductor switch apparatus is thus expected to have a longer useful life by energizing the starter not by using mechanical contacts but by using semiconductor switches.

摘要: An electronic control unit includes an electronic circuit board mounted with a plurality of electronic components disposed in a scattered manner on one or both surfaces of the board and at least one connector, and the electronic circuit board is housed in an enclosure made up of enclosure members including a cover and a base, wherein the electronic control unit is structured in such a way that intermediate members each are disposed on both top face of a part of or all of the electronic components and their projected area on the opposite mount surface of the board, portions of the enclosure members are made to closely contact the intermediate members so that both surfaces of the electronic circuit board are sandwiched by the enclosure members and the intermediate members, and edge portions in the periphery of the electronic circuit board are sandwiched by the enclosure members.

摘要: Provided is an electronic controller, which allows the use of a general-purpose connector, and does not require setting of a case for housing an electronic circuit board therein for respective connectors each having a different shape so as to enable a reduction in cost. An electronic controller (1) includes: an electronic circuit board (2) onto which an electronic component (16) is mounted; a connector (3) provided at an end of the electronic circuit board (2); a case (6) housing the electronic circuit board (2) therein and including an opening portion (6a) on a side of the connector (3); and a connector retaining member (4) provided between the connector (3) and an inner wall surface of the opening portion (6a) so as to be held in close contact with the inner wall surface and to surround the connector (3).

摘要: A projection-type display apparatus includes a light separating element that separates white light from an illumination optical system, first and second color separating elements that separate the separated white light beams into blue, green, and red light beams, three transmission-type liquid crystal light valves each for the right eye and for the left eye that modulate the color-separated light beams according to video signals, first and second color combining elements that each combine the blue, green, and red light beams that have been modulated, first and second wavelength-selective polarization rotating elements that respectively rotate the polarization direction of predetermined color lights from the first and second color combining elements so that the polarization directions of the color lights are aligned, a polarized light combining element that combines two polarized light beams that have polarization directions orthogonal to each other from the wavelength-selective polarization rotating elements, and a projection lens that magnifies and projects images respectively formed by the two combined polarized light beams. Using one projection-type display apparatus, it is possible to display stereoscopic video with little cross talk of images for the right eye and for the left eye, and no flicker, without needing high-speed response for the light valves.

摘要: Provided is a control apparatus applied to a hybrid vehicle provided with a dual clutch transmission in which a first input shaft is connected via a first clutch to an internal combustion engine and a second input shaft is connected via a second clutch to the internal combustion engine; a first motor generator connected to the first input shaft; and a second motor generator connected to the second input shaft. The first clutch is a normally open clutch, and the second clutch is a normally closed clutch. When detecting that hydraulic pressure is impossible to be supplied from a hydraulic supply system to both clutches, retreat travel is performed whereby a drive wheel is driven with the power of the first motor generator while the second motor generator is driven by the internal combustion engine for generating electricity.
