    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a toner carrying member for carrying a toner; an image carrying member, contacting the toner on the toner carrying member, on which a toner image is to be formed with the toner; and an electrode portion provided at an opposing position in which the electrode portion opposes the toner carrying member via the image carrying member interposed therebetween. The toner image is formed on the image carrying member by changing a value of a voltage, on the basis of image information, applied to the electrode portion. The toner carried on the toner carrying member and the image carrying member contact each other in a toner contact area. The toner is moved between the toner carrying member and the image carrying member in a toner movement area by changing the value of the voltage applied to the electrode portion. The toner movement area is present downstream of the toner contact area with respect to a movement direction of the image carrying member.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a toner carrying roller for carrying a toner, an image carrying member, contacting the toner on the toner carrying roller, on which a toner image is to be formed with the toner, and an electrode portion provided at an opposing position in which the electrode portion opposes the toner carrying roller via the image carrying member interposed therebetween. The toner image is formed on the image carrying member by changing a value of a voltage, on the basis of image information, applied to the electrode portion, and the toner carried on the toner carrying roller and the image carrying member contact each other in a toner contact area. The toner is moved between the toner carrying roller and the image carrying member in a toner movement area by changing the value of the voltage applied to the electrode portion, and the toner movement area is present downstream of the toner contact area with respect to a movement direction of the image carrying member.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member that carries a toner image, a rotatable endless belt facing the image bearing member, and a transfer device arranged on an inner peripheral side of the belt and transferring a toner image from the image bearing member to the belt. The transfer device includes a sheet member having conductivity and having a free end and an opposite end which is fixed. In addition, a support member supports and contacts the sheet member, and a securing member secures the sheet member. The sheet member at least has a first region secured by the securing member, a second region in contact with the support member, a third region separated from the support member and the belt, and a fourth region separated from the support member and in contact with the belt. The first region, the second region, the third region and the fourth region are located in order from an upstream side toward a downstream side in a rotational direction of the belt.

The cell barriers are formed by printing multiple times a phosphor paste containing glass frit in an overlapped manner by a screen printing method. The cell barrier is formed in another method in which a positive pattern of cell barriers are formed on the front or rear plate by using photo resist, a slurry containing a phosphor fills in portions except for the pattern of the photo resist, and the photo resist is thereafter removed to thereby form cell barriers. In the case of the cell barrier of a color display PDP, the cell barrier may be composed of a material containing phosphor of different colors each with a width corresponding to a one half width of the cell barrier.

    摘要: A method of forming a fluorescent screen for a plasma display panel provided with a front plate and a rear plate disposed parallel to each other and a cell barrier mounted on the front or rear plate and constituting a plurality of cells as display elements is characterized in that the cell barrier is located on a surface of the front or rear plate facing the other plate, a slurry solution containing a phosphor is filled in a portion defined by a cell wall of the cell barrier on the front or rear plate, only the wall surface of the cell barrier is exposed, and so a photosensitive layer containing a phosphor is formed at a portion inside the cell barrier. The fluorescent screen forming method is further characterized in another aspect in that a slurry solution containing a phosphor fills inside the cell of the cell barrier disposed on the plate, the plate is inclined immediately thereafter with an inclination of about 90.degree. or more degrees with respect to a horizontal plane, the rear plate in an inclining state is settled till the phosphor in the slurry solution is precipitated on the cell wall of the cell barrier, and the cell wall after the precipitating process is dried and hardened.
