A hydraulic brake apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The hydraulic brake apparatus includes a master cylinder, a high hydraulic pressure source, a brake assist mechanism, a liquid reservoir, an electronic control device, a hydraulic control device and is configured such that the master cylinder is actuated by a force assisted by the brake assist mechanism to generate a hydraulic pressure and a braking force according to the hydraulic pressure is applied to a wheel of the vehicle. The hydraulic brake apparatus further includes driving pressure reducing valve which is configured such that when a hydraulic pressure in a master pressure input port is higher than that in the driving pressure input port by a predetermined value, the hydraulic brake apparatus is actuated based on the pressure difference to open a hydraulic pressure discharge path extending from a driving hydraulic pressure chamber to the liquid reservoir.

There are provided an alarm information processing device and an alarm information processing method capable of handling alarm information in unification and of exhibiting flexible adaptability in response to the circumstances. A collection means collects alarm information having a plurality of mixed formats. A normalization means normalizes alarm information collected by the collection means. An information processing means executes information processing relative to the alarm information normalized by the normalization means. A user setting means is used for setting a logic for normalization by a user in the normalization means.

A hydraulic brake apparatus for a vehicle comprises a master cylinder and an auxiliary hydraulic pressure source. A master cylinder hydraulic pressure outputted from the master cylinder is adjusted by adding a master cylinder hydraulic pressure in response to an operation of a brake operating member to a master cylinder hydraulic pressure at an auto-braking control when the brake operating member is operated during the auto-braking control. The master cylinder hydraulic pressure is adjusted by controlling an operation of a valve means so as to increase a power hydraulic-pressure supplied from the auxiliary hydraulic pressure source to a regulating means corresponding to the amount of the operation of the brake operating member.

In a parallel relay circuit, only one of a plurality of relays is turned on sequentially while turning the rest of the relays off. It is determined whether the motor is applied with voltage via a voltage detection resistor when each of the relays is turned on individually such that a disconnection abnormality in the respective relays is detected. As the disconnection abnormality in each of the relays can be detected individually, it is possible to detect a disconnection abnormality that has been occurred at least in a part of the relays, and to alert a driver for the abnormality.

An antilock brake system (ABS) control apparatus for a four-wheel drive vehicle, having a slope identifier for determining the drive status of the vehicle along a slope before an ABS control is started, and a controller that changes the usual ABS control to a control in which the ABS control is restricted on condition that the state of the drive along the slope has been decided, whereby the braking distance of the vehicle during the drive along the slope can be shortened.

A first display means 101 displays a plurality of icons representing elements of conditions and a designation area for receiving the icons on a screen. A second display means 102 displays icons selected from the plurality of icons by a user's operation within the designation area on the screen. A filtering means 103 filters information in accordance with conditions responsive to a combination of icons displayed within the designation area. A third display means 104 displays information filtered by the filtering means on the screen.

A master cylinder MC is connected to wheel cylinders via brake conduits, and electromagnetic opening/closing valves configured as two-position valves with two ports are provided in the brake conduits, respectively. A brake conduit connects an area among a brake conduit between an electromagnetic opening/closing valve and pressure increase control valves with an area among another brake conduit between another electromagnetic opening/closing valve and pressure increase control valves. The brake conduit therebetween is provided with an electromagnetic opening/closing valve formed from a two-position valve with two ports. By using such a configuration, various controls can be executed as required in the event of an emergency, in addition to normal braking including automatic braking.

A vehicle hydraulic brake apparatus includes a linear solenoid valve unit for controlling a power hydraulic pressure supplied to a master cylinder from an auxiliary hydraulic pressure source. Master cylinder hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder detected by a pressure sensor is compared with a predetermined reference hydraulic pressure when the linear solenoid valve unit is electrically excited under a condition that the communication between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinders is interrupted by a hydraulic pressure control valve device disposed between the master cylinder and the wheel brake cylinders while the vehicle engine is activated and a brake operating member is not operated. The electric current supplied to the linear solenoid valve unit is corrected in response to a result of this comparison.
