摘要: In order to improve work efficiency, to exclude human mistakes, and to improve analysis efficiency, an automatic analyzing device that analyzes blood and urine includes a bar code reader and an RFID reader that reads identification information relating to the samples and reagents and that is installed in an operating unit for managing analyzing units in an integrated manner. Test information is stored in a test information storage means of the operating unit and when the identification information stuck on containers of the samples or the reagents is read, the test information is searched. The test information is displayed on a screen of the operating unit as search results; and a function of switching from the search results displayed on the screen to a detailed screen that displays details of the test information when a user selects target test information is provided.

摘要: A process for recovering valuable metals from an iron dust using a shaft furnace is disclosed. The iron dust is agglomerated and supplied into a the shaft furnace together with a lump coke and a flux. Valuable metal oxides contained in the iron dust are reduced in this shaft furnace. Volatile metals containing zinc and lead among the valuable metals thus reduced are volatilized within the shaft furnace and reoxidized, and then discharged from the shaft furnace together with an exhaust gas so as to be recovered as a crude zinc oxide. The reduced metal iron and slag are accumulated on a bottom portion of the shaft furnace in their molten states, and then separated and recovered.

摘要: Continuous polymerization method using a tubular continuous polymerization apparatus, wherein a peg 1 for tube cleaning is passed through a polymerization solution in polymerization tube 6 while contacting with the inner wall of the tube during the polymerization. The apparatus used in the method is equipped with polymerization tube 6; a first raw material inlet tube 8 connected with polymerization tube 6; a peg inlet tube 4 connected with polymerization tube 6; a second raw material inlet tube 10 connecting tube 8 with tube 4; valve 5 for opening and shutting between polymerization tube 6 and tube 8; valve 3 for opening and shutting between tube 10 and tube 4; and valve 7 for opening and shutting a connection between the tube 8 and tube 10. The invention can (1) eliminate the washing and cleaning of the polymerization tube at the exchange of species; (2) reduce loss in raw material and time which goes on until the inside of the tube reaches a steady state and (3) prevent scale production on the inner wall of the polymerization tube.

摘要: A method of fabricating composite metal wires such as aluminium clad steel wires is disclosed which comprises providing a core of hard metal with a cladding of soft metal by extrusion. In fabricating a composite metal wire by extrusion, a core is generally aligned, polished, cleaned or otherwise pretreated before entering an extruder so that a high and variable tension is imparted to the core. By avoiding such tension variation and maintaining the core under a constant low tension and by electrically heating the core before the core enters the extruder, a composite metal wire of improved quality is fabricated in a stable manner.

摘要: A diluted sample can be reused to remeasure a sample whose measurement has been completed, which is to be manually performed. The automatic analyzer according to the present invention can manage the elapsed time after a diluted sample pipetted to set hold and discard conditions. It is possible to check, before the measurement is performed, whether or not each requested measurement item can be measured, and the length of time it takes before measurement of all samples is completed. The automatic analyzer according to the present invention has functions of: setting diluted sample hold and discard conditions; allowing an operator to specify a kind of sample, for example, to select between a parent sample and a diluted sample; separately executing pipetting or measurement; and displaying each requested measurement item for which a sample or a reagent is insufficient, and displaying the length of time it takes until measurement of all samples is completed.

摘要: A road marking device comprises: a tubular, bottomed casing which has an open top end; a cover mounted over an opening in the casing and having a window; a self-luminous marking system composed of a condenser housed in the casing, an illuminant which emits light by receiving a power supplied from the condenser, and a circuit for driving the illuminant; and a transparent element which transmits and outwardly radiates the light emitted from the illuminant. The transparent element is fixed between the cover and the casing which cooperatively hold a periphery of the transparent element, with a part of the transparent element protruding outwardly from the window in the cover. In a self-luminous marking system, an LED is utilized without application of voltage so as to detect the quantity of light in the road environment and to generate an electromotive force in response to an incident light. Based on the electromotive force generated by this LED, the drive of a display LED is controlled.

摘要: A three-catalyst process for maximizing the conversion of nitrogen oxides during the treatment of combustion exhaust gases is provided. This process comprises in sequence contacting combustion exhaust gas in a first zone with a nitrogen-oxide-reduction catalyst to form a nitrogen-oxide-reduced gas; introducing a first stream of secondary air into said nitrogen-oxide-reduced gas to form a first air-gas mixture; contacting said first air-gas mixture in a second zone with a catalyst for decreasing ammonia to form a gas containing decreased amounts of ammonia; introducing a second stream of secondary air into said gas containing decreased amounts of ammonia to form a second air-gas mixture; and contacting said second air-gas mixture in a third zone with an oxidation catalyst for the oxidation of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons to form purified exhaust gas. The first stream of secondary air provides about 3 to about 8 volume percent air, based on the volume of primary air being employed in the combustion, while the second stream of secondary air is sufficient, when added to the oxygen remaining in the gas containing decreased amounts of ammonia, to provide substantially complete oxidation of the carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the gas containing decreased amounts of ammonia. The process may be employed to treat automobile exhaust gases.
