摘要: An aftertreatment system includes an upstream particulate filter, a decomposition chamber, a decomposition chamber dosing module, a first downstream catalyst member, and a downstream particulate filter. The decomposition chamber is positioned downstream of the upstream particulate filter. The decomposition chamber dosing module is coupled to the decomposition chamber and is configured to provide downstream treatment fluid into the decomposition chamber. The first downstream catalyst member is positioned downstream of the decomposition chamber and comprises a first downstream catalyst substrate configured to facilitate treatment of exhaust gas. The downstream particulate filter positioned downstream of the first downstream catalyst member.

摘要: An exhaust-gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust-gas system of a combustion engine has a first exhaust-gas treatment unit and, downstream thereof, an exhaust-gas treatment assembly. The treatment unit and the treatment assembly are arranged axially one after the other in the direction of a flow-path longitudinal axis of a flow path including the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. A hydrocarbon introducer for introducing hydrocarbon into exhaust gas flowing in the flow path is in the flow path substantially axially between the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introducer includes an introduction ring flow channel annularly surrounding the flow-path longitudinal axis. The channel is open in an upstream end region toward an outlet region of the treatment unit and is open in a downstream end region toward an inlet region of the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introduction assembly includes a discharging unit for discharging hydrocarbon into the channel.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a catalyst composition comprising a catalytically active platinum group metal (PGM) component disposed on or impregnated in a magnetic ferrite support material, wherein the magnetic ferrite support material is capable of inductive heating in response to an applied alternating electromagnetic field. Further provided are catalyst articles comprising such compositions, and components comprising such catalyst articles, and further comprising a conductor associated with the catalyst article for receiving current and generating an alternating electromagnetic field in response thereto, wherein the conductor is positioned such that the generated alternating electromagnetic field is applied to at least a portion of the catalyst composition, inductively heating the catalyst composition directly at the catalytic site. Also provided are exhaust gas treatment systems including such components and/or articles, and methods of treating emissions utilizing such components and systems.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an exhaust gas treatment system for treating an exhaust gas stream leaving an internal combustion engine, wherein said exhaust gas treatment system comprises (i) a first catalyst comprising a coating and a first substrate, wherein the coating comprises a vanadium oxide supported on a first oxidic support comprising titanium; (ii) a hydrocarbon injector for injecting a fluid comprising hydrocarbons into the exhaust gas stream exiting the outlet end of the first catalyst according to (i); (iii) a second catalyst comprising a coating and a second substrate, wherein the coating comprises palladium on a second oxidic support comprising one or more of zirconium, silicon, aluminum and titanium.

摘要: There is provided a catalyst that exhibits a high denitration efficiency at a relatively low temperature and does not cause oxidation of SO2 in a selective catalytic reduction reaction that uses ammonia as a reducing agent. A denitration catalyst contains 3.3 wt % or more of vanadium oxide in terms of vanadium pentoxide and has a BET specific surface area of 10 m2/g or more.

摘要: System and methods for reducing secondary emissions in an exhaust stream from an internal combustion engine are disclosed. The systems and methods include a filtration device positioned downstream from an SCR catalyst of an aftertreatment system disposed in the exhaust system. The filtration device can also be used for particulate filter diagnostics and for treatment of ammonia slip.

摘要: Catalyst articles having a first zone containing a first SCR catalyst and a second zone containing an ammonia slip catalyst (ASC), where the ammonia slip catalyst contains a second SCR catalyst and an oxidation catalyst, and the ASC has DOC functionality, where the first zone is located on the inlet side of the substrate and the second zone is located in the outlet side of the substrate are disclosed. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases, in reducing the amount of ammonia slip and in oxidizing organic residues. Exhaust systems containing the catalyst articles and methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced and hydrocarbon are oxidized by the ASC catalyst, are also described.
