The method also includes replacing the first carrier assembly on the system stage with a second carrier assembly on the system stage. The second carrier assembly includes the support frame and an adapter plate held by the support frame. The second carrier assembly has a second substrate held by the adapter plate that has a sample thereon. The method also includes detecting optical signals from the sample of the second substrate.

摘要： A method for visualizing historical pathogen sampling in a facility includes the following steps: (1) populating a plurality of sampling locations as a plurality of icons on a map of the facility; (2) receiving sampling data specifying a plurality of pathogen levels at the plurality of sampling locations; (3) assigning one of a plurality of colors to each of the plurality of sampling locations according to the plurality of pathogen levels; (4) coloring the pathogen sampling locations on the map with the assigned colors to form a frame; (5) repeating steps (2), (3), and (4) on at least three different occasions to form a sequence of frames; and (6) sequentially displaying the sequence of frames and an identification of the respective occasion at a constant rate.

摘要： An automatic filter changer that automatically inserts and removes a filter from a fluidic path. Filters are introduced into the automatic filter changer in stacks. The lead filter and each stack is removed from its respective stack one by one by a filter separator. The separated filters are deposited onto a shuttle plate which moves the filters into their respective fluidic paths. Fluid couplers connect to each filter to complete their respective fluidic paths and allow fluids to be filtered before sampling. Once collection of the samples is complete, the filters are removed from the fluidic path and discarded or saved for reuse. The shuttle path is returned to its original position to receive new filters to repeat the process again. A graphic user interface is provided to allow the user to program a specific set of instructions to automate the entire process.
