    摘要: An ink-jet printed product is formed by printing an image with a plurality of similar color inks having different concentrations and a special ink having a single concentration. In the product, graininess resulting from ink dots is decreased for all hues of the printed image. A decision is made as to whether or not a hue of an image to be printed can be printed with inks without the special ink of a color (for example, special color BL (blue)) having a single concentration. When it is decided that the hue of the image is to be printed with inks without the special color ink, data on ink color BL (blue) is decomposed into data on C (cyan) and data on M (magenta). The hue can be printed without the color BL, thereby significantly decreasing graininess in a portion having this hue.

A predetermined correction line in a HS table memory is selected depending upon the density difference correction signal. By the selected correction line, the density correction of the image data of forward path printing and backward path printing is performed to output the image data.

    摘要: An object is to provide ink jet printed products superior in the image quality such that ink jet printing onto the cloths satisfy the various conditions regarding the density, resolution, and graininess of dot. To accomplish this object, when an image is formed by a number of dots obtained by discharging the ink from a print head to attach the ink onto the cloths, the ink amount discharged from the printing head onto the cloths is controlled to produce ink jet printed products so that the average value of equivalent circle diameter for each dot after image formation may be three-fourths or less the average value of diameters of fibers constituting the cloths. Thereby, ink jet printed products excellent in image quality can be obtained with blurs reduced and high graininess of dot.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes conveying device for conveying a printing medium in the substantially horizontal direction in the printing range where a printing agent is applied to the printing medium while a printing plane of the printing medium orients in the upward direction, a printer section including a plurality of printing heads located opposite to a platen portion of the printing range for applying the printing agent to the printing medium in the downward direction so as to form printed images on the printing medium by activating the printing heads, and supporting device for slidably displacing the printer section relative to the platen portion in the conveying direction of the printing medium conveyed by the conveying device, between the position where the printer section is located opposite to the platen portion and the non-opposing position spaced away from the preceding position. With such construction, a maintenance service can easily be conducted for the conveying device.

    摘要: An ink-jet printing apparatus restricts fluctuation of the printing density due to coagulation and settling of a coloring agent in a water based ink, in which a water insoluble coloring agent or a coloring agent having low water solubility is dispersed. By this, movement of the ink caused due to difference of specific gravity caused by coagulation of the coloring agent or so forth in an upper passage to a lower passage can be restricted to successfully prevent increasing of difference of ink density.
