    摘要: A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink and a clip. The heat sink includes a base and a plurality of fins extending upwardly from a top surface of the base. The clip includes a pressing body, two bending portions slantwise to the pressing body and extending from two opposite ends of the pressing body, and two locking arms extending from two ends of the bending portions. The pressing body of the clip abuts against the top surface of the base. The bending portions are extended downwardly from the pressing body to be located adjacent to two sides of the base to prevent the clip from moving horizontally along a lateral direction of the heat sink.

    摘要: A fastener assembly for securing a heat sink to a printed circuit board, includes a sleeve, a bolt inserted into the sleeve and a resilient component surrounding the bolt. The sleeve comprises a hollow body, a bottom plate at a bottom thereof and an engaging cylinder extending downwardly from the bottom plate. The engaging cylinder has inner thread and a deformable latching protrusion projecting radially outwardly. The bolt includes a shaft, a head and a threaded part for threadedly engaging with a retainer of the printed circuit board. The head is received in the sleeve above the bottom plate. The shaft is received in the through hole of the sleeve whilst the threaded part is held beneath the engaging cylinder of the sleeve. The resilient component is compressed between the head of the bolt and the bottom plate of the sleeve.

    摘要: A heat sink fastener includes a main body, a piercing body and an operating member. The main body has a pressing part for pressing a heat sink toward a heat-generating component. An engaging part and a latching leg are disposed at opposite ends of the main body. The piercing body includes a piercing part piercing through the engaging part, and a latching part below the piercing part. The operating member includes a cam pivotally connected to the piercing part and rotatable between locked and unlocked positions. At the locked position, a protrusion formed on the cam abuts a lateral edge of the piercing part to prevent the operating member from spontaneously rotating back to the unlocked position. A bent flange is formed at a periphery of the cam and engages with the engaging part.
