    摘要: A three-dimensional display device including a collimated backlight module, a first display panel, a second display panel, and a lens array is provided. The collimated backlight module has a light-emitting surface and provides a light with a divergent angle smaller than 10° from the light-emitting surface. The first display panel having a plurality of first pixels is disposed on the collimated backlight module. The second display panel has a plurality of second pixels corresponding to the first pixels. The first display panel is disposed between the second display panel and the collimated backlight module. A depth distance is formed between the first display panel and the second display panel. The lens array is disposed adjacent to the second display panel and has a plurality of lenses corresponding to the second pixels. Therefore, the three-dimensional display device is capable of providing a wide visual angle and desirable depth characteristics.

    摘要: An optical object positioning apparatus including an optical element, a light sensor and a processing unit and a positioning method thereof are provided. The optical element includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and perpendicular to a first axis, and has at least two light-passing regions. Light beams from an object to be positioned pass through the light-passing regions from the first surface to the second surface. The light sensor and the optical element are spaced by a predetermined distance on a direction of the first axis. The light sensor senses the light beams from the light-passing regions to generate at least two light-sensing signals. A distance between the object and the optical element is positively correlated to the predetermined distance. The processing unit receives the light-sensing signals and positions the object according to the light-sensing signals and the predetermined distance.

    摘要: An interactive three-dimensional display system includes a three-dimensional display panel which has an optical sensor array, an interactive device which includes a projection light source and a shadow mask, and an image recognizing unit. The shadow mask has a pattern to define an image projected by the interactive device. The image is captured by the optical sensor array. The pattern includes two strip patterns which cross each other. The image includes two strip images which cross each other. The image recognizing unit is electrically connected with the optical sensor array and calculates relative positions of the interactive device and the three-dimensional display panel according to the image. A method of calculating the relative positions includes calculating according to the lengths of one of the strip patterns and one of the strip images, and a divergent angle and tilt angle of the projection light source.

    摘要: The present invention provides a display method for an LCD device with reduced color break-up, comprising the following steps: generating a control signal for each sub-frame, and displaying the sub-frames successively. The present invention generates, according to brightness of a screen to be displayed, second backlight control signals and second LC control signals for each display region in the each sub-frame and then, according to the second backlight control signals and the second LC control signals, displays a chromatic sub-frame and a plurality of monochromatic sub-frames successively so that the screen to be displayed can be viewed through human vision. The present invention can not only facilitate reducing color break-up (CBU) of the LCD device, but also can contributes to the LCD device advantaged by high contrast, high color saturation, low power consumption and low manufacturing costs.

    摘要: A color adjustment method for a color sequential liquid crystal display (LCD) having at least one white light source is provided. In the color adjustment method, firstly, an original image signal is converted into a target color point located in a chromaticity diagram in a color space. Then, a modified image signal having white data is calculated according to the original image signal. Afterwards, the modified image signal is converted into a main color point located in the chromaticity diagram by using a matrix group. Then, a plurality of subfield data are calculated according to the main color point and the target color point. The subfield data are used for enabling the main color point to fall on the target color point.

The pixel structure includes a first and a second capacitor electrode, a dielectric layer, a passivation layer, a pixel electrode, and an active device. The first capacitor electrode is disposed on the substrate and has a first notch. The dielectric layer covers the first capacitor electrode, and the second capacitor electrode is disposed on the dielectric layer above the first capacitor electrode. The passivation layer is disposed on the dielectric layer to cover the second capacitor electrode, and the passivation layer has a contact opening above the first notch for exposing a part of the second capacitor electrode. The pixel electrode is disposed on the passivation layer and is electrically connected to the second capacitor electrode through the contact opening. The active device is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. Additionally, a method for repairing the pixel structure is also provided.

    摘要: A method of generating frame control signals for reducing reaction time comprises following steps: analyzing an input frame signal; generating a first reference liquid crystal control signal of a frame; setting a second liquid crystal control signal range and thereby generating a second reference liquid crystal control signal; generating a second backlight control signal according to the first reference liquid crystal control signal and the second reference liquid crystal control signal; and generating a second liquid crystal control signal of each pixel according to the second backlight control signal. By confining the second backlight control signal to the second liquid crystal control signal range, the reaction time of the liquid crystals is reduced and the frame quality of LCD devices is enhanced.
