    摘要: A dielectric resonator designed so that there is substantially no loss in a conductor on the surface of a casing forming a shielded cavity, and so that the unloaded Q and the resonant frequency can be changed independently of each other. A cylindrical dielectric block having a pair of electrodes formed respectively on its two opposite surfaces is disposed in a metallic shielded-cavity casing so that one of the electrodes is in contact with an inner bottom surface of the shielded-cavity casing. This electrode is electrically connected to the shielded-cavity casing by soldering or the like. Input/output connectors are coupled to the other electrode on the cylindrical dielectric block.

    摘要: A dielectric resonator device has a dielectric member. Electrodes are respectively formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the dielectric member. The dielectric resonator device resonates at a mode having electric field components in a direction perpendicular to the upper and lower surface of the dielectric member. The electrodes formed on the dielectric member are each formed of a thin film multi layered electrode produced by alternately laminating thin film electrode layers and thin film dielectric layers. Each thin film dielectric layer which is sandwiched between the thin film multi layered electrode layers serves as a dielectric resonator. Accordingly, the thin film multi layered electrode acts as a laminated structure of a plurality of dielectric resonators. Thus, a current distributes over the plurality of thin film electrode layers, thereby alleviating the current concentration on the surface of the dielectric member. As a consequence, conduction losses of the overall resonator unit are reduced.

The lower surface of the protuberant portion is smaller than the size of the corresponding dielectric resonator defined by the side edges thereof.

    摘要: A data backup apparatus includes a semiconductor memory having a plurality of areas, each area storing a value of variables. A writing unit writes a value to a plural number of areas of the memory one by one, the plural number being at least four and even. A reading unit reads the values from the plural number of areas of the memory. A coincidence determining unit determines whether more than half of values read from the plural number of areas of the memory are the same as each other. An assigning unit determines a coincidence value when it has been determined that more than half of the read values are the same, so that the coincidence value is assigned to each variable.

    摘要: Ceramic cavities 1a and 1b have upper and lower open faces and contain dielectric cores 2a and 2b formed integrally therein. The ceramic cavities 1a and 1b are sandwiched between upper and lower panels 3 and 4 at the upper and lower open faces, respectively, of the ceramic cavities 1a and 1b via grounding plates 5a and 5b and grounding plates 6a and 6b, respectively, and the upper and lower panels 3 and 4 are fixed by screws. Based on this structure, a problem of an unreliable joint part between an open face of a ceramic cavity and a metal panel connected directly to each other by soldering and the problem of increase of the number of components of a structure in which a printed circuit board is mounted to the open face of the ceramic cavity by using grounding plates can be overcome, even when the ceramic cavity has an open face formed in a complex shape.
