摘要: In a step-up circuit for causing the emission of light of a distance measuring light emitting element, the step-up circuit outputs a step-up voltage from one terminal of a step-up capacitor. A step-up voltage level changeover circuit applies a step-up voltage to the capacitor every time the distance measuring light emitting element emits light that is higher than the step-up voltage in the normal state. The number of parts is reduced by eliminating a separate capacitor for light emission, the space for the circuit is reduced by using the capacitor having a small capacity, the soldering steps for fabrication of the circuit are automated; and the costs for assembly are ameliorated owing to the automation.

摘要: A camera powered by a battery has a first memory area for storing first data used in operating the camera and for retaining the first data irrespective of a power source interruption in the camera, and a second memory area powered by the battery for storing second data which is dependent upon the first data. A power interruption in the camera, such as occurs when the battery is exhausted or replaced, is detected by comparing the first data stored in the first memory area with the second data stored in the second memory area. After detection of a power interruption, the camera is initialized and the first data stored in the first memory area is then copied into the second memory area. Since the first memory area and the second memory area are compared each time the camera is activated, the state of the battery can be reliably checked.

摘要: A data processing device for a camera wherein a parity bit is provided in data of an EEPROM, and when a parity error is caused by destruction of data or the like, data previously prepared in a ROM is employed, or when data before and after a specific abnormal data are normal, an interpolation calculation is performed by using these normal data. When data memorized in the EEPROM are destructed by an unexpected accident such as by static electricity, the data are prevented from using and picture taking can be continued without applying a serious influence on the picture-taking operation by performing an approximation calculation by using the other normal data memorized in the ROM.

摘要: An ultrasonic atomizer circuit having a plurality of unit oscillator circuits has been improved by preventing undesired interference between oscillator circuits. Each unit oscillator circuit has a transistor (Q1) with a grounded collector, a piezo-electric vibrator (TD) coupled across the collector and the base of the transistor (Q1), a capacitor (C3) coupled across the emitter and the base of the transistor (Q1), and a capacitor (C1) coupled across the emitter and the collector of the transistor (Q1). An additional capacitor (C7) is provided between the base of the transistor (Q1) and the junction point of one end of the vibrator (TD) and the capacitor (C3), so that one end of said capacitor (C3) is separated from the base of the transistor for DC current.

摘要: An apparatus for inserting date information into given positions within the frames of film loaded in a camera. If it is impossible to modify the date, or if the user finds that the date is erroneous, the apparatus permits photographs with correct date to be printed. The apparatus has a CPU including a first RAM for storing the present date information. When frames of the film are used for photography, date information is inserted into the given positions, using a date information inserting LED array. When the present date information is modified by operating date switches, the difference between unmodified date information and modified date information is calculated and stored in a second RAM. The number of frames is also stored. When the film is rewound, the aforementioned difference and the number of frames are read out and inserted in the leader of the film. When the film used for photography in this way is printed, the date information, the difference, and the number of frames are checked. With respect to frames having frame numbers preceding the frame having a frame number equal to the above-described number of frames, i.e., frames used for photography before modification of the date information, the above-described difference is added to the date information. As a result, the frames can be printed with correct date information.
