    摘要: A hardware device for executing conditional instructions out-of-order and the execution method. An architecture is provided, enabling the hardware device such as a processor supporting the conditional instruction and a computer system to execute the instruction out-of-order. To this end, a conditional execution buffer is provided, and a register of a destination operand of the conditional instruction is renamed to another register. Hence, the hardware device using the conditional instruction can carry out the out-of-order execution, and the execution speed of the hardware device can be greatly improved.

The disturbance compensation determination apparatus includes a disturbance observer (DOB) receiving a control input signal and a servo output signal of a plant, wherein the DOB calculates and outputs a current estimated disturbance value. The apparatus also includes a disturbance evaluation unit selectively changing a current disturbance compensation (DC) mode, wherein selectively changing the current DC mode comprises evaluating an accumulated estimated disturbance value in accordance with a condition corresponding to the current DC mode. In addition, the apparatus includes a switching unit selectively providing the current estimated disturbance value to a control loop of the plant in accordance with the current DC mode as selectively changed by the disturbance evaluation unit.

    摘要: An adaptive spindle motor startup method includes applying an internal driving voltage to a disk drive, sensing an internal temperature of the disk drive, and controlling the startup of a spindle motor by adjusting a startup factor related to a startup current applied to the spindle motor corresponding to the sensed temperature. Thus, the delay of time to reach a target rotation rate is prevented in the spindle motor in an extreme environment, for example at temperatures lower or higher than 25° C. The overall startup time is efficiently optimized through the improvement of the startup method of the spindle motor.
