摘要: A method of producing an embossed sheet includes the steps of allowing a flexible strip-shaped sheet to continuously travel, forming a coating layer by coating the surface of the sheet with a radiation curable resin, transferring a pattern of concavities and convexities on the surface of the emboss roller to the coating layer by winding the sheet around the rotating emboss roller, curing the coating layer by irradiating the sheet which is wound around the roller with radiation, releasing the sheet from the emboss roller, laminating a protective film on one or both sides of the continuously traveling sheet after releasing, and taking up the continuously traveling sheet after lamination in the form of a roll. According to the method, a high quality, defect-free embossed sheet having a fine regular pattern of concavities and convexities on the surface can be produced at high line speed with high productivity.

摘要: An emulsification apparatus is used in a production apparatus of microcapsules. The emulsification apparatus is constituted with an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder coaxially arranged in a superposed manner, the outer cylinder is fixed, and the inner cylinder is rotated at a circumferential speed ω. A liquid being processed is fed into the gap between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder, thus a shear force is exerted to the liquid being processed, and the liquid being processed is thereby emulsified. The relation between the magnitude d (mm) of the gap, the viscosity η (mPa·sec) of the liquid being processed and the circumferential speed ω (m/sec) of the inner cylinder is such that the circumferential speed co is controlled so that any one of the following relations may be satisfied: (1) When η≦20, d≦5/ω; (2) When 20

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a photoreceptor for electrophotography which has a low residual potential in an initial stage, is inhibited from increasing in residual potential, is prevented from decreasing in charge potential, and undergoes little fatigue deterioration even upon repeated use. The invention relates to a photoreceptor for electrophotography which has a photosensitive layer containing a cyclic phenol sulfide represented by the following general formula (1): and one or more charge-transporting agents each having an arylamino group in the molecule, and which has excellent durability.

摘要: A vehicular display device that includes a transmissive first liquid crystal display unit having a plurality of display elements; a transmissive second liquid crystal display unit superposed on the first liquid crystal display unit and having a plurality of display elements; and a controller for controlling the display elements of the first second liquid crystal display units, so as to display information required by a driver of the vehicle. The information displayed by the display elements includes at least first information indicative of a status of the vehicle, second information for confirming an operating setting of a vehicle-mounted device on the vehicle, and third information for indication to the driver. The controller controls the display elements to selectively display the information by selectively energizing and de-energizing the display elements, and further controls the display elements to simultaneously display the information in a non-overlapping manner.
