摘要: Fin stock materials adapted for use in superhigh pressure service heat exchanger fabricated by brazing are made of aluminum alloys consisting essentially of, in weight percentages, 0.6 to 1.5% of Mn, 0.1 to 1.0% of Cu, 0.1 to 0.75% of Mg, and 0.05 to less than 0.30% of Si, and the balance being aluminum and incidental impurities, the Fe in said impurities being controlled up to 0.8%. The aluminum alloy fin stock materials contain optionally at least one component selected from the group consisting of 0.05 to 0.25% of Zr, 0.01 to 0.25% of Ti, 0.05 to 0.25% of Cr and 0.01 to 0.25% of V. The fin stock materials have a combination of advantageous properties, particularly a high prevention effect of excessive silicon diffusion of brazing materials into the fins, good strength and formability, whereby give good utility particularly in plate fin heat exchangers for use in superhigh pressure applications.

摘要: A plate fin heat exchanger adapted to applications using superhigh-pressure fluids was fabricated by brazing, the heat exchanger using as fin stock an alloy consisting essentially of 0.3 to 1.0 wt. % Si, 0.05 to 0.25 wt. % Cu, 0.6 to 1.5 wt. % Mn and 0.45 to 0.9 wt. % Mg, the balance being aluminum and impurities, wherein said impurities contain up to 0.8 wt. % Fe.At least one component selected from the group consisting of 0.05 to 0.25 wt. % Cr, 0.01 to 0.25 wt. % Ti, 0.03 to 0.25 wt. % Zr and 0.01 to 0.25 wt. % V may be added to the above fin alloy stock.By using the above plate fin, excessive silicon diffusion from a brazing alloy into the fin, which may cause reduction of width of the brazed joint, is suppressed, and as a result, lowering of the bonding strength of the brazed joint is eliminated.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a memory distributing unit arranged between a transfer unit and a developing unit which develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoconductive drum and cleans the drum surface. The distributing unit has a brush formed of bundles of electrically conductive fibers contacting the circumferential surface of the drum. A predetermined voltage is applied from a power source to the fiber bundles so that residual developing agents on the drum surface are attracted to the fiber bundles. The distributing unit includes a lining member which is formed of an insulating material and presses the brush against the drum surface to prevent the attracted developing agent from scattering from the fiber bundles.

摘要: A method of and apparatus for effecting artificial respiration in synchronism with a patient's voluntary breathing. The apparatus is in the form of an external body ventilator with an assistor, and comprises a jacket, a suction pump, a suction pipe, a changeover device, a jaw movement detection device, and a changeover controlling device. The jacket has a rigid shell for surrounding the chest of a patient and forming an air-tight chamber between the chest and the rigid shell when the jacket is applied to the chest of the patient. The suction pipe is in fluid communication with the air-tight chamber of the jacket, and the changeover device is for effecting a changeover between releasing the air in the air-tight chamber through the suction pipe and into the atmosphere during voluntary respiration, and connecting the suction pipe to the suction pump during artificial respiration. The jaw movement detection device produces a signal corresponding to the movement of the jaw of the patient, and the changeover control device determines a timing of voluntary breathing by the patient on the basis of a signal detected by the jaw movement detection device, and controls the changeover device on the basis of the timing.
