摘要: A generator apparatus can provide generated power fit for a connected battery, and even if a load voltage is not within a suitable range, when the load voltage is a certain level or more, the generator can provide power. A selector 25 selects a target voltage for controlling the output voltage of a rectifier 2. An output controller 34 controls the rectifier 2 according to the target. A load judgment section 35 judges the terminal voltage of a battery 19. When the terminal voltage is within an allowable range with respect to the target value, permission for output is given to the output controller 34. When the load voltage is not within the allowable range, an alarm is raised. Even when the alarm is raised, if a load voltage develops which is not less than a predetermined voltage lower than the allowable range, the battery 19 can be charged by forced-output.

摘要: Since the starting of an engine at a lower temperature is troublesome, the temperature of the engine is measured by a sensor. When the measured temperature is lower than a reference temperature, the pump is first switched on for circulating a thermal medium. This permits the thermal medium to transfer heat of the hot water stored in a hot water storage tank to the engine, hence warming the engine, decreasing the viscosity of the oil, and preventing the generation of dew in the engine to ease the start up of the engine.

摘要: An abnormality of a generator provided with a plurality of power supply units is easily detected. Each of the power supply units includes each of output windings L1 to L4, which are wound independently of each other around the single iron core, and each of rectifier circuits 2 to 5. The power supply units produce an integrated output power. Control means 33 to 35 control the rectifier circuits such that an output voltage agrees with a target voltage Vref. In a case where an added up power W becomes a power target value Wref, when the added up current I further increases, a power comparing section 39 reduces the target voltage Vref to prevent the rectifier circuits from outputting power. Further, when the added up current I exceeds a current upper limit ILMT, a gate pulse is stopped.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearer rotating in a first direction while bearing a toner image thereon in a normal image forming operation; a toner image forming device to form the toner image on the image bearer; a transferring device to transfer the toner image to a recording medium eventually; a cleaning blade to block toner remaining on image bearer without being transferred; and a controller. The controller controls the image bearer to perform an inverse rotation operation in which the image bearer rotates in a second direction opposite to the first direction after controlling the toner image forming device to perform a special image forming operation such that the amount of toner input to the cleaning blade in the special image forming operation is greater than the amount of toner input to the cleaning blade in the normal image forming operation, and then stopping the image bearer.

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid application device and an ink jet recording apparatus each capable of reducing deterioration in application quality due to an increase in the number of times of use of a roller, thereby improving durability. The present invention includes an application roller which applies liquid to an application medium, and a liquid retention member which retains the liquid in a liquid retention space formed by making the application roller be in contact with the retention member. With this structure, a pool of the liquid is formed, with rotation of the application roller, in an area upstream of a contact area, in a rotational direction, between the application member and the retention member at a side where a surface of the application member enters the contact area therebetween.

摘要: The development device includes a toner carrier, a toner supplier, and a surface electrical potential controller. When the toner supplier supplies toner particles to the toner carrier, the toner carrier carries toner particles to adhere to a latent image formed on the latent image carrier and has a time constant τ1 of a surface electrical potential change of the toner carrier. The surface electrical potential controller has a time constant τ2 of a surface electrical potential change of the toner carrier smaller than the time constant τ1. The toner carrier includes a plurality of electrodes aligned in parallel and electrically insulated from each other on the surface thereof, and a voltage supplier for supplying each of the plurality of electrodes with a voltage to periodically switch electrical fields therebetween, so that the toner particles form a cloud on the surface of the toner carrier while hopping.

摘要: Provided are an inkjet printing apparatus and a method of controlling an inkjet printing apparatus whereby the performing of a suction discharge operation, for air bubbles that have penetrated inside an ink supply line, can be suppressed to a minimum necessary number of times, and whereby the ink discharge volume that accompanies air bubble suction discharge operations can be kept low. The volume of an air bubble that penetrates into an ink supply line is estimated on the basis of an elapsed time since the last air bubble suction discharge operation, and in addition, the volume of an air bubble that penetrates into the ink supply line during main tank installation is predicted. The suction discharge operation (choke suction operation) for suctioning out and discharging air bubbles is conducted when the sum of these estimated volumes becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
