Abstract: A marine propulsion system includes an engine effectuating rotation of an output shaft, a battery, an alternator having a rotor driven into rotation by the output shaft and that is configured to generate a charge output to the battery, a battery state of charge sensor configured to measure a battery charge value of the battery, and a control system. This control system is configured to receive a demand value and/or a temperature, receive the battery charge value from the battery state of charge sensor; and control the alternator to adjust the charge output based on at least one of the battery charge value and the demand value and/or temperature.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a primary power supply (PPS) configured to supply primary power, a PPS sensor configured to measure the power supplied by the PPS and provide a PPS measurement signal indicating an amount of the power supplied by the PPS, a backup power supply (BPS) configured to be provided in an emergency data system and further configured to supply backup power to a modem, and an integrated circuit configured to maintain a clock using the power supplied by the PPS. The integrated circuit is configured to receive the PPS measurement signal from the PPS sensor, determine whether the PPS measurement signal falls below a threshold, and maintain the clock using the power supplied by the BPS in response to a determination that the PPS measurement signal has fallen below the threshold.

Abstract: A power distribution system 100 is installed in an aircraft, and comprises: a first DC power supply unit 10 including a generator 11; a second DC power source unit 20 including a battery 30, a step-up/down converter 41, a voltage sensor 43, and control unit 44; and a diode 50. When the voltage sensor 43 does not detect regenerative power, the control unit 44 executes a running power processing mode in which generated power generated by the first DC power supply unit 10 is supplied to an electric actuator 80 while charging and discharging the battery 30 using the step-up/down converter 41 so as to keep a charge rate A of the battery 30 within a predetermined range. When the voltage sensor 43 detects regenerative power, the control unit 44 executes a regenerative power processing mode in which the battery 30 is charged with the regenerative power using the step-up/down converter 41.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a charging system, a charging method and a power adapter. The system includes a power adapter and a terminal. The power adapter includes a first rectifier unit, a switch unit, a transformer, a second rectifier unit, a sampling unit, a control unit and a first isolation unit. The control unit outputs a control signal to the switch unit, and adjusts a duty ratio of the control signal according to a current value and/or voltage value sampled by the sampling unit, such that a third voltage with a third pulsating waveform outputted by the second rectifier unit meets a charging requirement. The terminal includes a battery. When the terminal is coupled to the power adapter, the third voltage is applied to the battery.

Abstract: A vehicle powertrain includes a bypass diode and a controller. The bypass diode is configured to clamp an inverter DC terminal voltage to a battery voltage. The controller is configured to, while the terminal voltage is within a predetermined range of the battery voltage, maintain off a lower IGBT of a DC-DC converter while in a propulsion mode, and modulate the lower IGBT to increase the terminal voltage to maintain the bypass diode reverse biased while in a regenerative mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a charging system, a lightning protection method for a terminal during charging and a power adapter. The charging system includes a power adapter and a terminal. The power adapter includes a first rectifier, a switch unit, a transformer, a second rectifier, a first charging interface, a second voltage sampling circuit, and a control unit. The control unit adjusts a duty ratio of a control signal such that a third voltage with a third ripple waveform outputted by the second rectifier meets a charging requirement, and controls the switch unit to switch on for a first predetermined time period for discharging when the voltage value sampled is greater than a first predetermined voltage value. The terminal includes a second charging interface and a battery. When the second charging interface is coupled to the first charging interface, the second charging interface applies the third voltage to the battery.

Abstract: An engine generator detects a DC voltage in a path from a rectifier to an inverter in controlling charge/discharge, and makes a duty ratio in switching control of a charging conductor of a power storage device higher than a duty ratio in the switching control of a discharging conductor of the power storage device when the DC voltage is higher than a target voltage of the DC voltage, and makes the duty ratio in the switching control of the discharging conductor of the power storage device higher than the duty ratio in the switching control of the charging conductor of the power storage device when the DC voltage is lower than the target voltage.
