    摘要: A control unit distributes a motor voltage vector corresponding to an output request for a motor to a first and a second inverter voltage vectors associated with outputs from a first inverter and a second inverter, and determines whether a switching condition for three-phase-on mode is satisfied. Determining that the switching condition is satisfied, the control unit switches to three-phase-on mode in which every high-side switching element or every low-side switching element of one inverter is turned on and one end of a coil in each phase of the motor is brought into common connection, and the control unit drives the motor with an output from the other inverter. Herein, the switching condition for three-phase-on mode includes failure of one inverter and an inverter voltage vector of an output from one inverter being approximate to 0 when neither of the inverters fails.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a generator includes a rotor configured to rotate in cooperation with a stator to generate electrical power. A sensor, which is supported by the rotor, is configured to generate a trigger signal indicative of a position of the rotor. A communication interface is configured to receive the trigger signal from the sensor of the rotor and receive data indicative of an output of the generator. A controller supported by the rotor or configured to perform a phase analysis of the trigger signal and the output of the generator and calculate a power angle for the generator based on the phase analysis.

    摘要: A genset includes a generator configured to generate a power signal having a first voltage. A controller is configured to monitor and control at least one operational parameter of the generator. A buss potential isolation module is configured to receive the power signal having the first voltage from the generator, reduce the first voltage to output a second voltage, and communicate the power signal having the second voltage to the controller. The second voltage is suitable for communicating to the controller which can include electronic circuitry configured to meet an NEC Class 2 circuit requirement. The first voltage can be at least 120 volts, and the second voltage can be less than 24 volts.

    摘要: A brushless field exciter for wound synchronous machines that uses the resonance of the leakage inductance and a capacitor in a resonant field exciter to transfer energy to the rotating field winding. By resonating at frequencies greater than 50 kHz, this exciter reduces the overall size and weight of synchronous wound field motors at all power levels and extends the practical and economic power limits of synchronous wound field machines down to low integral and fractional HP applications, eliminating the permanent magnets now used in high efficiency motors and generators in that power range.

    摘要: An on-vehicle power generation control unit includes current detecting unit; communication unit; holding unit; maximum current determining unit; and current control unit. The current detecting unit detects the excitation current at the field winding. The communication unit communicates with an external equipment to receive a first upper limit. The holding unit holds a second upper limit. The maximum current determining unit determines a maximum current to be the second upper limit when the first upper limit has not received by the communication unit or when the received first upper limit is more than or equal to the second upper limit. Further, the maximum current determining unit determines the maximum current value to be the first upper limit when the received first upper limit is less than the second upper limit. The current control unit controls the detected excitation current to be within the maximum current value.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating a thermal power plant, which includes a gas turbine and a generator driven directly by the gas turbine by means of a shaft and being connected to an electrical grid having a grid frequency (FG) via an electronic decoupling apparatus and a step-up transformer. A synthetic inertia response is achieved by said method includes the steps of: sensing said grid frequency (FG); detecting if in case of an excursion of said grid frequency (FG) additional inertial power is required or not; if inertial power is required, calculating the magnitude and duration of the additional inertial power; and releasing additional inertial power to said electrical grid in accordance with said calculations via said electronic decoupling apparatus.

    摘要: Provided is a power-generation control device capable of appropriately using a drive belt looped around a power generator and an internal-combustion engine mounted on a vehicle. The device monitors a difference between an actual generated current of a rotating electrical machine and an estimated generated current estimated from estimated power-generation torque for controlling power generation of the rotating electrical machine, which corresponds to a power-generation torque command, or the like. When a difference equal to or more than a predetermined value occurs between the actual and the estimated generated currents, the power-generation control device limits the estimated power-generation torque so as to be reduced, and further limits the estimated power-generation torque with use of learning limiting power-generation torque calculated based on the estimated power-generation torque at a time when the difference has occurred between the actual generated current and the estimated generated current.
