摘要： A conductive elastomer composition includes an ionic-conductive elastomer component, which contains an anion-containing salt having a fluoro group (F—) and a sulfonyl group (—SO2—). The conductive elastomer composition has a volume charge not more than 108.5 (Ω·cm) when the volume charge is measured at a voltage of 100V applied thereto in accordance with the method specified in JIS K6911. The conductive elastomer composition has a compression set not more than 30% when the compression set is measured at a temperature of 70° C. for 24 hours at a compressibility ratio of 25% in accordance with “the permanent set testing methods for rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic” specified in JIS K6262.

摘要： The present invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a high-molecular-weight thermoplastic elastomer, a low-molecular-weight thermoplastic elastomer affinitive for the high-molecular-weight thermoplastic elastomer, and a rubber component. The ratio of the number-average molecular weight (Mn1) of the high-molecular-weight thermoplastic elastomer to the number-average molecular weight (Mn2) of the low-molecular-weight thermoplastic elastomer is not less than 1.2 nor more than 500. The rubber is dynamically cross-linked and dispersed in the thermoplastic elastomers. Further, the present invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer composition consisting of a mixture of a thermoplastic elastomer composition (F) containing a high-molecular-weight styrene thermoplastic elastomer having a number-average molecular weight not less than 80,000; a composition (G) consisting of a polar termination-modified thermoplastic elastomer and/or a polar-nonpolar graft polymer; and a rubber compound (H) containing EPDM as a main component thereof. The rubber component of the mixture is dynamically cross-linked and dispersed in the thermoplastic elastomers.

摘要： An inventive developing roller is adapted for use in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The developing roller includes a roller body. At least an outer peripheral surface of the roller body is formed from a rubber composition containing a base rubber. The base rubber contains a styrene butadiene rubber in a proportion of not less than 10 mass % and not greater than 70 mass % based on the overall amount of the base rubber. The outer peripheral surface of the rubber body has a surface roughness Ra of not less than 0.78 μm and not greater than 1.8 μm.
