摘要: An automatic control type electronic flash apparatus comprises means for emitting flashlight and flashlight emission stopping means. The stopping means receives the flashlight emitted by the flashlight emitting means and reflected by an object to be photographed and stops the emission of the flashlight by the flashlight emitting means when a quantity of the flashlight received reaches a predetermined value. The flash unit includes integrating means for integrating a current corresponding to the flashlight emitted by the flashlight emitting means in place of the flashlight reflected by the object and comparing means. The comparing means compares an integrated value from the integrating means with a reference value and generates a first output when the integrated value is smaller than the reference value and a second output when the integrated value is greater than the reference value. The flash unit includes indicating means for showing an over-exposure in response to the first output.

摘要: In an electronic flash apparatus, electric power is alternately supplied by a same power source to the voltage elevating circuit for charging the main capacitor for flash emission and to other circuits provided in the flash unit or in the camera, such as a light emission control circuit for controlling the quantity of emitted light, an indicator circuit for indicating the completion of the charging of the main capacitor, an indicator circuit for indicating whether the light emission control is in operation, an alarm circuit for indicating an inadequate setting of the flash unit etc.

摘要: In a flashlight emission system, apparatus for lighting a flash tube to illuminate an object and for controlling the quantity of emitted light from the flash tube, the apparatus being cooperative with a camera having structure for presetting ASA speed of film and aperture value of a taking lens prior to taking, there is provided a device for displaying the limit of object distance for providing an optimum exposure to the film comprising; apparatus for receiving information of the ASA speed and aperture value from the camera to make up first data corresponding to the received information; apparatus for making second data indicative of the limit of the quantity of emitted light controllable by the control apparatus; a device for calculating the limit of object distance from the first and second data and generating an output corresponding to the limit found out by the calculation; and apparatus for making a visual display of the limit of object distance in response to the output of the calculation device.

摘要: In a memory array MCA which includes memory cells MC each having a variable-resistance-based memory device RQ and a select transistor MQ, an object is to receive a fixed quantity of storage data for a short time, and to realize writing operation to the memory cell, with suppressed peak current. In order to achieve the object, the data bus occupation time in rewriting operation is shortened by using plural sense amplifiers and storing storage data temporarily, and plural programming circuits are provided and activated using the control signals with different phases. By the above, the phase change memory system with low current consumption can be realized, without causing degradation of the utilization ratio of the data bus.

摘要: A phase change memory includes a memory cell with a phase change element storing data according to level change of a resistance value in association with phase change, a write circuit converting the phase change element to an amorphous state or a polycrystalline state according to the logic of write data in a write operation mode, a read circuit reading out stored data from the phase change element in a readout operation mode, and a discharge circuit applying a discharge voltage to the phase change element to remove electrons trapped in the phase change element in a discharge operation mode. Accordingly, variation in the resistance value at the phase change element can be suppressed.

The strobe control device is further provided with a colorimetry system that determines a color of the object, a reflection compensation value determining system that determines a compensation value for compensating for errors depending on a reflectivity of an object, and a compensation system that compensates for the reference control level in accordance with the reflection compensation value.

摘要: A portable power blower includes a body and a handle mounted on a top of the body. The body includes a prime mover, a fan volute chamber, a fan housed in the fan volute chamber and attached to one end of an output shaft of the prime mover, and an air inlet of the fan volute chamber formed in front of the fan. A main guard member is so mounted as to cover one side surface of the fan volute chamber on which the air inlet is formed, and a gap for radially introducing external air into the air inlet is formed between a rear side of the main guard member and the one side surface. The gap is in open communication with atmosphere at a top portion of the body. A bottom guard member connected to the main guard member and the fan volute chamber covers bottom portions of the fan volute chamber and the prime mover, and a sub-guard member connected to the bottom guard member and the fan volute chamber covers sides of the prime mover which oppose the main guard member and the bottom guard member, respectively.
