摘要: To dispose an air cleaner having a large capacity under a fuel tank without changing the capacity and mounting height of the fuel tank. An air cleaner is disposed under a fuel tank in such a manner as to be housed in a space surrounded by a head box and right and left main frames. Independent air cleaner elements and are disposed in parallel in the air cleaner and are connected to independent intake passages A and B, respectively. The intake passages A and B form a dirty room formed in a front portion of a case main body, and are disposed on the left and right sides of water drip walls integrally formed on the bottom of the case main body. The right and left water drip walls are each formed into an approximately V-shape in a plan view and project in the intake passages. The water drip walls also separate an intake pipe opened upwardly in the clean room C from the intake passages A and B. The intake passages A and B are connected to the rear end of an intake space passing through the head box in the longitudinal direction.

摘要: To improve the maintenance and inspection of a fuel injection valve, as well working of the fuel piping and wiring to the fuel injection valve. An engine fuel injection apparatus includes an air chamber provided on an upstream end of an air intake passage of an engine. A first fuel injection valve for injecting fuel toward the upstream end of the air intake passage is provided on a wall of the air chamber facing a wall connected to the upstream end of the air intake passage. The fuel piping and wiring to the first fuel injection valve is located outside of the air chamber. The air chamber also serves as an air cleaner case provided with a filter element therein.

摘要: To secure a space for arranging an on-vehicle component on a motorcycle without increasing the size of the motorcycle. A motorcycle includes a front wheel, an engine, and a rear wheel disposed on a vehicle body in this order from the front. An exhaust pipe extends rearwardly from the engine with a muffler provided at the rear end of the exhaust pipe. The muffler is disposed on the rear portion of the vehicle body frame between left and right rear frames above the rear wheel. The rear portion of the exhaust pipe is connected to the muffler after being disposed near the right rear frame. A space for arranging an on-vehicle component, such as a battery or a key cylinder, is secured between the rear portion of the exhaust pipe and the left rear frame.

摘要: To avoid exertion of an external force on a fuel tank as much as possible. A mounting structure of a fuel tank for a motorcycle provides a fuel tank that is disposed between a pair of left and right frame members of a vehicle body frame and the fuel tank is mounted on the vehicle body frame at a first mounting portion and second, third, and fourth mounting portions. The fuel tank is mounted at each of the mounting portions via a plurality of tubular resilient bodies. The first mounting portion allows resilient support in the fore-and-aft direction and in the vertical direction of the vehicle and limits the lateral movement. The second, third, and fourth mounting portions allow resilient support in the fore-and-aft direction and in the vertical direction of the vehicle.

A motorcycle includes a front wheel, an engine, and a rear wheel disposed on a vehicle body in this order from the front. An exhaust pipe extends rearwardly from the engine with a muffler provided at the rear end of the exhaust pipe. The muffler is disposed on the rear portion of the vehicle body frame between left and right rear frames above the rear wheel. Stays extend downwardly from the left and the right rear frames. A rear fender is disposed below the muffler and is attached to the stays. The muffler is tapered from the upper portion toward the lower portion when viewed from the rear. The left and the right rear frames comprise a rear seat, which is wider than the muffler, at a level higher than the muffler.
