摘要： An air cleaner includes an air cleaner case, an element disposed in the air cleaner case, and an intake port disposed in the air cleaner case. With respect to an imaginary plane extending in opposite first and second directions, opposite third and fourth directions, and opposite fifth and sixth directions that are perpendicular to each other, the air cleaner case includes a first half located at a side of the fifth direction and a second half located at a side of the sixth direction, with respect to an imaginary plane in which the first to fourth directions extend. The intake port is formed in the first half of the air cleaner case. The air cleaner case includes a closed wall at a position substantially symmetric to a position of the intake port with respect to the imaginary plane.

摘要： A motorcycle intake air guide for feeding an intake air volumetric flow to a motorcycle internal combustion engine includes an unfiltered-air channel, a filtered-air channel, and an air filter therebetween. An intake air guide valve provided in the unfiltered-air channel is configured to change a cross-section of the unfiltered-air channel cross-section. The unfiltered-air channel has a double-flow design at least in sections with a first unfiltered-air partial channel and a second unfiltered-air partial channel which are merged downstream of a steering head of a frame of the motorcycle in a collection region of the unfiltered-air channel. The intake air guide valve is arranged in the collection region, downstream of the first and second unfiltered-air partial channels.

The air induction system also includes a panel filter disposed inside the air box, wherein the panel filter divides the inner box cavity so that the first induction inlet and the second induction inlet are upstream of the panel filter.

摘要： A motor vehicle has an air intake system with an air duct. The air duct has an air inlet for taking in ambient air and an air outlet. The air duct has a curved bent section which, upstream, is closer to a vehicle running surface than downstream. In the event of a water level of water entering the air duct that is rising parallel to the vehicle running surface, the internal cross section of the bent section is closed by the water before the water can pass the bent section. A plurality of air openings downstream of the bent section is introduced through a wall of the duct in an outer surface of the duct that points away from the vehicle running surface.

摘要： An air intake assembly for a vehicle includes an air intake configured to intake ambient air and a heater box configured to be positioned adjacent a component of an exhaust assembly of the vehicle. The heater box is configured to intake ambient air and heat the air by heat absorption from the component of the exhaust assembly. The air intake assembly is configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly. The air intake assembly may selectively permit passage of ambient air and heated air by use of a valve in communication with the air intake and the heater box and further in connection with an engine assembly of the vehicle, the valve configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly.

摘要： A fresh air inlet system includes an inlet panel defining first windows and second windows, offset from the first windows. An inlet baffle is below the inlet panel and an outlet baffle is opposite the inlet panel from the inlet baffle. The outlet baffle at least partially defines an outlet plenum providing air-flow communication to an induction duct. A longitudinal flow section is defined between the inlet baffle and the inlet panel. A first vertical flow section is defined by the first windows and a second vertical flow section is defined by the second windows. The first vertical flow section is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal flow section and the second vertical flow section is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal flow section. Therefore, intake air flows successively from the longitudinal flow section to the first vertical flow section, to the second vertical flow section, and to the induction duct.

摘要： A supercharger (15) is provided with a bypass pathway (17). A backflow preventer (20) is provided to the air intake pathway (8) between an airflow meter (10) and the bypass pathway (17). The backflow preventer (20) has: a casing (41) formed by locally expanding the cross-sectional area of the air intake pathway; and an inner tube (42) substantially constructing a duct for the mainstream of air intake. The inner tube (42) is supported by a flange portion (50) and the downstream end (42a) opens within the casing (41). During backflow when the bypass pathway (17) opens, a portion of the intake air enters into an exit-side space section (55), and the flow is prevented by the flange portion (50). Consequently, reverse flow is suppressed.

摘要： In a cowl stay structure for a vehicle which is mounted on a front end part of a body frame having a pair of main frames extending longitudinally to the left and right, and which supports a cowling, a cowl stay supporting the cowling has a front opening which serves as a duct with a hollow structure designed to guide the air taken in from a front side of a vehicle body to an air cleaner box. The cowl stay is mounted on a front surface of a head pipe arranged on the front end of the body frame for establishing a flow path of the front opening with said head pipe opening. A headlight configured to irradiate an area in front of a vehicle with light is placed inside the cowl stay. Such a cowl stay structure has reduced size and weight, and it supports multiple parts.
