摘要： A rotor portion of a motor includes a rotor core and a plurality of field magnets arranged in a circumferential direction at the rotor core. The rotor core includes at a flux barrier portion thereof arranged between a pair of field magnets of opposite magnetic polarities arranged next to one another a flux barrier hole. The flux barrier hole is independent of a magnet retaining hole in which the field magnet is retained. The magnet retaining hole includes a concave portion extending from a side thereof nearest to the flux barrier hole toward the corresponding flux barrier hole.

摘要： A stator of a motor includes a plurality of busbar plates, each laminated above a stator core in an axial direction and connected to a plurality of wires having a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each busbar plate includes a plurality of busbars arranged in a circumferential direction, and a busbar holder of insulating quality to which the plurality of busbars are integrally affixed. The wires include a line portion, and a connecting end portion having a substantially columnar shape protruding from an end surface of the line portion. The busbar makes contact with the end surface of the line portion and is connected by welding to the connecting end portion.

摘要： A straight line portion of a substantially U-shaped angular wire having a substantially rectangular cross section and a straight line portion of a substantially U-shaped round wire having a substantially circular cross section are accommodated at a slot arranged at a stator of a motor. The round wire is arranged at a more radially inward portion of the slot than the angular wire is. The connecting portion of the round wire is arranged radially inwardly of the straight line portion thereof. The connecting portion of the angular wire is arranged radially outwardly of the straight line portion thereof.

Thereby, the impact load in the vehicle side collision can be effectively supported by the cross member with a simple structure.

摘要： An electric pump for use with an engine in a vehicle is provided. The electric pump has an impeller having a plurality of blades for moving coolant. A working surface of each blade is formed to be a flat plane which extends generally straight in both an axial direction and a radial direction. The electric pump is formed by a centrifugal pump. When the electric pump is not operating and is used as a portion of a coolant passage, flowing resistance can be reduced as compared with a case where the working surface of each blade is curved.

摘要： A compact, highly accurate and inexpensive brushless motor is disclosed. A bearing is fixed to the inner periphery of a cylindrical portion of a housing, and a shaft is rotatably inserted through the bearing to cover the housing. A yoke arranged at the forward end of the cylindrical portion of the housing is fixed on the shaft. In this configuration, the bearing is arranged at a position on the inside of the yoke, and therefore the motor can be reduced in size to the extent of superposition between the yoke and the housing. The bearing is fixed to one member of the housing, and therefore a high accuracy is realized.
