    摘要: When communicating with a second wireless station, a first wireless station judges, based on link-related information received form the second wireless station and link-related information extracted from a signal transmitted by a fourth wireless station, whether a transmission link from the third wireless station to the fourth wireless station and a transmission link from the first wireless station to the second wireless station can be concurrently established without interference with each other. If judging affirmatively, the first wireless station transmits a signal to the second wireless station in synchronization with a signal transmitted by the third wireless station to the fourth wireless station. Preferably, when the first wireless station having a concurrent transmission control function communicates with the second wireless station having a interference reduction function, the first wireless station controls the interference reduction function of the second wireless station based on the link-related information received from the second wireless station and interference information, such that the transmission link from the third wireless station to the fourth wireless station and the transmission link from the first wireless station to the second wireless station can be established at the same time without interference with each other. If judging that the concurrent transmission is available, the first wireless station transmits a signal to the second wireless station according to a timing that overlaps transmission of a signal from the third wireless station to the fourth wireless station.

In order to attain this object, a method for storing the characterizing quantity of an interfering signal included in a received signal comprises a characterizing quantity calculation step of calculating the characterizing quantity of the received signal; a received signal determination step of determining a probability that a desired signal is included in the received signal, and determining that the received signal is an interfering signal when determining that there is no probability that the desired signal is included in the received signal; and an interfering signal characterizing quantity storage step of storing the characterizing quantity of the received signal as an interfering signal characterizing quantity when it is determined at the received signal determination step that there is no probability that the desired signal is included in the received signal.

    摘要: A diversity receiver carries out error detection, error correction, and data detection on each detected data string 21. An output switching unit 17 outputs a decoded data string 24 of a branch selected by a branch selector 16. The branch selector 16 selects a branch of highest priority in priority information 29 from branches of which a data detection signal 25 indicates that the data is valid and of which the number of error symbols 22 coincides with a minimum value. In the priority information 29, higher priority is assigned to a branch that includes an antenna of which the coverage is closer to that of an antenna included in a branch selected at the immediately-previous time. Thus, selected from the plurality of branches having the minimum number of error symbols 22 is the one that includes the antenna of which the coverage is closest to the coverage of the antenna included in the branch selected at the immediately-previous time. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of misselection of a poor-quality branch, and improve a reception characteristic.
