摘要: A voltage sensor detects a terminal voltage of a battery connected to a load and a current sensor detects a current flowing through the load. A voltage-current changing tendency calculation unit reads a detected voltage and a detected current detected by the voltage sensor and the current sensor and outputs, every predetermined period of time, plural data of the detected voltage and the corresponding detected current as dispersed data. A voltage-current approximating line calculation unit inputs the dispersed data and determines, based on the dispersed data, a voltage-current approximating linear function each time the predetermined period of time. A battery remaining capacity calculation unit determines, each time the voltage-current approximating linear function is determined, a remaining capacity of the battery based on the voltage-current approximating linear function. Particularly the voltage-current approximating line calculation unit determines the voltage-current approximating linear function by applying a method of least squares to the plural data of the voltage and the corresponding current of the dispersed data.

摘要: While a power source is being supplied from a sub-battery by a voltage-current change trend calculating section, the voltage-current change trend calculating section collects currents from a battery and terminal voltages. A voltage-current approximate straight line calculating section obtains an approximately linear function, and a battery residual capacity calculating section obtains a residual capacity voltage based upon the approximately linear function and open-circuit voltages. A current storage stop discriminating section integrates the currents while the residual capacity voltage is lower than a previous residual capacity voltage, and when supplying from the sub-battery is stopped, obtains total capacity according to the open-circuit voltages at the stop and supplying and according to the integrated currents.

摘要: The apparatus and method of the present invention measure the remaining capacity of a battery connected to a fluctuating load. The apparatus senses dispersive terminal voltages and dispersive discharge currents from the battery, and samples the sensed terminal voltages and discharge currents. On the basis of the sampled terminal voltages and discharge currents, the apparatus calculates a watt-hour value of the battery for a predetermined time interval, and checks whether the calculated watt-hour value reaches a predetermined value. If the calculated watt-hour value reaches the predetermined value, the apparatus calculates an approximate linear function indicative of a trend of the sampled terminal voltages and discharge currents, and calculates a voltage corresponding to a reference discharge current in accordance with the calculated approximate linear function as a remaining capacity voltage. The apparatus then converts the calculated remaining capacity voltage into an ordinate position on a two-dimensional display screen, and a calculated total watt-hour value into an abscissa position on the same display screen, and displays the positions in the form of a dot curve.

摘要: A head-up display device includes a display unit for displaying information, a reflector rotatably supported by frame members fixed to a vehicle, and an adjuster for adjusting a rotational position of the reflector by a gearing system. The information displayed on the display unit is reflected by the reflector to a projection area on a vehicle windshield. The adjuster so adjusts the rotational position to allow a vehicle driver to see both a front view through the windshield and a superimposed reflected image of the information. The head-up display device further includes a regulator to allow the reflector to rotate in a rotational direction within a range where the reflector is adjustable by the adjuster, and to prevent the reflector from shifting in a direction other than the rotational direction.

摘要: A display system has a display unit and a reflector which are disposed in an instrument panel of an automotive vehicle. The display unit emits an image that is reflected by the reflector, and the image is projected on a windshield of the vehicle via an opening of the instrument panel. The display system superposes the image on a foreground seen from the vehicle such that a diver of the vehicle can recognize the superposed image and the foreground via the windshield simultaneously. The display system includes a shutter device disposed between the display unit and the opening. The shutter device is transformable to pass indication beams of the emitted image through the opening in conformity with a size of the emitted image.

摘要: The apparatus moves back a combining screen into a dashboard of a vehicle when the combining screen is not used. The combining screen is used for receiving an image emitted from a displaying device to superpose the image on a foreground of the vehicle such that the superposed image is visible for a driver's eye. The displaying device is disposed in the dashboard. The combining screen is positioned above the dashboard and inclined by a predetermined angle relative to an upward direction of the vehicle at its operational position. The apparatus has an outer moving means for moving the combining screen along a straight line between an operational position and an intermediate position and has an inner moving means for moving the combining screen along a curve between the intermediate position and a stored position in the dashboard. The intermediate position is located in the dashboard and above the displaying device. One of the inner and outer moving means has a cam channel and the combining screen has a pin movable along the cam channel. The cam channel and the pin define a cam moving mechanism to move the combining screen, while the other of the inner and outer moving means has a pin holding mechanism. The pin holding mechanism is movable with holding the pin to move the combining screen.

摘要: When an operational unit is inclined in an X- or Y-direction, an universal support mechanism and a rotation angle detection mechanism are used to detect the inclined direction and angle. The detection results are supplied to a computer system (not shown). When the operational unit is pushed down at the neutral position, a push detection switch detects it. The detection result is also supplied to the computer system. In addition, a rotation angle detection switch 10 detects rotation of the operational unit about a Z-axis. The detection result is supplied to the computer system.

摘要: In the on-vehicle display unit 5, an indicated image on an indication surface 51a of the display 51 is reflected by a semi-transparent mirror 55 to be directed above a dashboard 1 through a window 59b formed in a cover plate 59a disposed on an upper surface 1a of the dashboard 1. Thereby, the image is projected on a windscreen 3. The semi-transparent mirror 55 is moved in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, so that the vertical position of a projection point P1 or P3 of the image S1 or S3 on the windscreen 3 is changed such that the image is superimposed over the foreground at which a driver of the vehicle is looking. The cover plate 59a is supported by a cover support construction 59c so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the upper surface 1a of the dashboard 1.
