    摘要: A system for recovering drain which recovers two or more flows or drain of different temperatures, which is applied to a generating plant provided with feed-water heaters in which drain is recovered into a condensation system downstream from a condenser through a drain tank by a drain pump and which comprises a high temperature recovered drain inlet, which is at high temperature and contains much flush steam, and a low temperature drain inlet. The high temperature recovered drain inlet is positioned at a lower part and the low temperature side drain inlet is positioned above the former. This system effects efficient degassing of drain which has high content of dissolved oxygen and efficient control of dissolved oxygen.

    摘要: The polyester monofilament of this invention has a terminal carboxyl group concentration of not more than 10 equivalent weights/10.sup.6 g and contains an unaltered carbodiimide compound in an amount in the range of from 0.005 to 1.5% by weight and a fluorine type polymer in an amount in the range of from 0.01 to 30% by weight. The polyester monofilament of this invention has an excellent resistance to hydrolysis and proof against staining. When used under high temperature and high humidity conditions susceptible to hydrolysis and the collection of stains, as when used in a papermaking drier canvas, it brings about a notable effect of prolonging the service life of the canvas and lengthening the cycle of cleaning.

    摘要: A condensation system for use in a power plant including a steam generator and steam turbine comprises at least one side stream condenser. The side stream condenser defines therein first and second hot wells with the first hot well receiving therein condensate produced by condensing steam exhausted from the steam turbine. A condensate pump device forcibly delivers the condensate through a condensate feed line having one end thereof connected to the first hot well and the other end communicating with the second hot well. A first purification device is provided in the condensate feed line to remove impurities from the condensate flowing therethrough. A main condensate pump device forcibly delivers the condensate through a main condensate feed line having one end thereof communicating with the condensate feed line and the other end connected to the steam generator. A second purification device is provided in the main condensate feed line downstream of the main condensate pump device, for removing impurities from the condensate introduced into the steam generator through the main condensate feed line.

    摘要: A side stream type condenser which has a first hot well for condensing steam exhausted from a turbine and storing the condensed water and a second hot well for storing the purified condensed water to prepare for water feed to a main system includes a partition plate for defining the two hot wells. The partition plate is formed with a weir portion so that part of the condensed water in the second hot well may overflow to keep a fixed water level. The weir portion is constructed in the shape of a labyrinth and is formed with a passage normally filled up with the condensed water, and a space in the upper part of the second hot well communicates with the upper space of the first hot well through this passage only. The condensed water in the first hot well is fed to a purifying system disposed outside, and is purified therein. It is thereafter fed to the second hot well when the main system requires the feed water and to the first hot well when not, through pipe means constructed so as to feed the water selectively to the first hot well and the second hot well. The water level of the first hot well is controlled by causing the condensed water to overflow from the weir portion. On the other hand, the water level of the second hot well is controlled in such a way that the actual water level is detected by a water level gauge disposed in the second hot well, that the quantities of water in an inlet and outlet of a tank for storing the feed water of the main system are controlled in accordance with the detected water level, and that the feed water of the tank is caused to flow into the first hot well.

    摘要: A polyester composition with a polymer component which contains 99.8-60 wt % of a polyester with a terminal carboxyl group concentration of not more than 10 equivalents/10.sup.6 g (A) and 0.2-40 wt % of a thermoplastic polymer containing no fluorine atoms (B), and which also includes 0.005-1.5 wt % of unreacted carbodiimide compound (C), polyester monofilaments obtained from the composition, an industrial fabric and paper drier canvas which employ the polyester monofilaments, and a rubber mold reinforced with the polyester monofilaments. The composition is obtained by kneading in the polyester either after or during the process of melting and kneading the thermoplastic polymer containing no fluorine atoms and the carbodiimide compound, and the composition is spun, drawn and thermoset to obtain polyester monofilaments.

    摘要: Condensation system for use in a power plant. The condensate system includes side stream condenser defining therein first and second hot wells. Condensate is delivered from the first to second hot well through a condensate feed line. Condensate is introduced from the condensate feed line into a tank through a first spill-over line. Condensate is supplied from the second hot well to the power plant through a main condensate feed line. Condensate is introduced from the main condensate feed line into the tank through a second spill-over line. Actuator is operative in response to signal from a level detector detecting level of condensate in the first hot well, to regulate opening degree of a supplementary feed valve in the supplementary feed line, to close one of first and second spill-over valves in the first and second spill-over lines, respectively, and to open the other spill-over valve.
