    摘要: A coal-fired power plant having a control unit including a first flow rate control valve for regulating a water flow rate of a water feed bypass system, a second flow rate control valve installed in an extraction pipe for extracting steam from a steam turbine, a first temperature sensor on a downstream side of a heat recovery device, and a second temperature sensor on a downstream side of a heat exchanger and the control unit regulates opening of the first and second flow rate control valves on the basis of an exhaust gas temperature detected by the first temperature sensor and a feed water temperature detected by the second temperature sensor.Accordingly, even when a recovery heat quantity of the heat recovery device installed on a gas duct is changed due to deterioration with age of a boiler, a reduction in plant reliability and plant efficiency can be suppressed.

A condensate cooler includes a first water inlet fed by a condensate outlet of the second set of heaters, a second water inlet fed with a complementary fraction of the extracted-water flow, a first outlet for cooled condensate to be reinjected into the condenser, and a second outlet for heated water so that water leaving the first set of heaters is mixable with water from the second outlet.

    摘要: A thermal power generation apparatus comprises a boiler (15) and multiple turbine sets for high, intermediate and lower steam pressure operation. Steam exhausted from the high pressure turbine (HP), and reduced in both pressure and temperature, is returned to a reheater (19) for reheating. The reheated steam is then passed to a intermediate pressure turbine (IP). It is desirable to control the temperature of steam entering the intermediate pressure turbine (IP). The invention provides a system for effecting temperature control of the reheater stream in a thermal power plant. The system includes a reheater conduit (10, 21) adapted to define at least a part of a reheat flow path for steam between an exhaust of a high pressure turbine system (HP) and an inlet of a reheater system (19). The system further includes an indirect water/steam heat exchanger (B) having a heat exchange portion within the reheat flow path and defining a water flow path means adapted to receive and circulate feed water. The feed water may be taken from take off points (A, D) in the primary feed water stream.

    摘要: A steam powered electric power generating station to provide electricity comprises a steam turbine positioned in a steam turbine shell, equipment, such as a heater, a first and a second temperature detectors, and a computer. The steam turbine has necessary blades and a shaft to turn an electrical generator to create electricity. The steam turbine shell mechanically coupled to receive steam to turn the at least one blade steam turbine. The equipment is mechanically coupled to the steam turbine shell to receive steam from the steam turbine shell and receives feed water through an entry port and releases feed water through an exit port. The first temperature detector is positioned to detect a first temperature of the feed water prior to entering the equipment via the entry port. The second temperature detector is positioned to detect a second temperature of the feed water after exiting the equipment via the exit port. The computer is electrically coupled to the first temperature detector and to the second temperature detector and compares the first temperature to the second temperature to generate a temperature difference. Related processes comprise detecting a first temperature of feed water immediately before the feed water has exited the heating equipment; detecting a second temperature of the feed water immediately after the feed water has entered the heating equipment; (c) comparing the first temperature to the second temperature to generate a temperature difference between the first temperature and the second temperature; (d) comparing the temperature difference with a preferred temperature difference to determine whether the temperature difference is within an approved range from the preferred temperature difference; and (e) generating a warning signal to alert the power plant operator if the temperature difference is not within the approved range.

    摘要: A processor controlled supervisory apparatus for a liquid level controller of a feedwater heater obtains DCA characteristics and breakpoints thereof in a programmed manner. A plurality of DCA characteristics are obtained for a plurality of load conditions, and the breakpoints and other operating parameters are stored in a database correlating operation parameters with load conditions. Equations describing the relationship between the parameters and the load conditions are determined by the programmed processor and additional data points determined therefrom to provide load-responsive control for liquid level setpoint. A retrofitting apparatus retrofits the inventive supervisory control apparatus onto existing liquid level controllers.
