    摘要: A scheduler and method for scheduling packet forwarding operations is provided. Packet forwarding request information associated with a first set of input port/output port combinations is received. Packet forwarding request information associated with a second set of input port/output port combinations different from the first set of input port/output port combinations is received, where the first set of input port/output port combinations and the second set of input port/output port combinations are selected to not conflict with each other. Packet forwarding for both the first set of input port/output port combinations at a first future time slot and the second set of input port/output port combinations at a second future time slot are simultaneously scheduling at a first scheduler and a second scheduler, respectively, based on the received packet forwarding request information. Reservation information for the first set of input port/output port combinations and the second set of input port/output port combinations is transferred to adjacent schedulers based on a module pattern, where the adjacent schedulers are responsible for scheduling additional sets of input port/output port combinations for the first and second future time slots, respectively.

    摘要: Since a shared public data delivery module makes a response to a data query to other data delivery modules or other shared public data delivery modules; or to a query from other data delivery modules or other shared public data delivery modules instead of the data delivery module, the data delivery module needs not to directly make response to the data query, and it is hence possible to reduce load imposed on data delivery modules participating in the P2P data delivery system. For example, for a data request issued from a data delivery module, an adjacent shared public data delivery module acquires data substitutionally; it is hence possible to reduce the transfer network amount between the module having issued the data request and other data delivery modules and between the module having issued the data request and other shared public data delivery modules not adjacent thereto.

    摘要: A network system has: a communication device configured to perform frame transmission and reception; a network configured to transfer the frame; a gateway connected between the communication device and the network; and a controller configured to perform management of the communication device and the network. The frame is classified into a control frame for communicating control information necessary for communication and a data frame for communicating data between communication devices. The gateway determines whether a frame received from a source communication device is the control frame or the data frame, forwards the control frame to the controller, and forwards the data frame to the network. The controller performs the management based on the control frame received from the gateway. The network transfers the data frame received from the gateway to a destination communication device without through the controller.

    摘要: A network system has: a node performing transmission and reception of a frame based on FCoE (Fiber Channel Over Ethernet); a network; a controller performing management of the node and the network; and a gateway provided with respect to the node. The gateway determines whether a frame received from the node is a control frame or a data frame, forwards the control frame to the controller, and forwards the data frame to the network. The controller performs the management based on the control frame received from the gateway. The network transfers the data frame received from the gateway to a target node without through the controller. The controller comprises a flow management unit that manages a transfer route of the data frame in the network with respect to each flow.

    摘要: A management computer includes a storage unit in which route information indicating a transfer route of frames in a communication network is stored; and a monitoring unit. First to N-th nodes (N is an integer not less than 2) line up in order along a transfer route. In identifying a location of failure on the transfer route, the monitoring unit transmits a state notification frame to the first node. The i-th node, when receiving the state notification frame, updates a forwarding table by adding the management computer to the forwarding destination and forwards the state notification frame to the (i+1)-th node. The i-th node, when receiving a check frame, forwards the check frame to the (i+1)-th node and the management computer by referring to the post-update forwarding table. The monitoring unit identifies the location of failure based on reception state of the check frame from the transfer route.

When the above IF specifying information indicates an IF unit (e.g. 204-N-M) in other network processing unit (e.g. 200-N), a packet processing unit (201-1) transfers the above IF specifying information and the above packet to the network processing unit (200-N) through a switch unit (300). A packet processing unit (201-N) in the network processing unit (200-N) outputs the above packet to the IF unit (204-N-M) represented by the IF specifying information.

In the band control device, an application processor checks the contents of application level data to detect regulation subject data. When regulation subject data has been detected, processes such as shutdown, band limitation and delay addition is performed for L3 traffic, an L4 connection and an application level transaction with respect to the regulation subject data. Thus, specific application level traffic is autonomously regulated so that network resources can be fairly utilized.
