    摘要: A difference processing circuit receives input of welding images taken by a CCD camera in real time and then differentiates power monitoring images recorded in a memory from welding images to obtain difference processing reflected light images. Due to the difference processing performed by a difference processing circuit, foreign matter images included in welding images and power monitoring images are eliminated and the difference processing reflected light images that are obtained do not include any foreign matter images. A quality judgment device uses the difference processing reflected light images obtained by a difference processing circuit and conducts a quality judgment. As described above, since difference processing reflected light images do not include any foreign matter images, a quality judgment device does not receive any influence from the foreign matter that is adhered to the protective glass and can conduct an excellent evaluation of the welding quality.

As a result, in the image picked up by the camera, images due to dirt become few and images due to the workpiece become relatively many.     摘要: A laser welding method for stacked workpieces. A laser irradiation diameter that is irradiated on a surface of one workpiece among two stacked workpieces is set such that a laser irradiation diameter at a weld ending-edge portion is equal to or greater than approximately 1.5 times a laser irradiation diameter at a weld starting-edge portion. Thus, at the weld ending-edge portion, the material is melted in a wider area compared to a conventional example, and therefore, the melted material is supplied to the center portion of the weld ending-edge portion while the weld ending-edge portion is solidifying. As a result, a depth of the recess at the weld ending-edge portion can be made shallow enough to guarantee the welding quality of each of the workpieces.

    摘要: A butt welding system and a butt welding method of steel plate by which the quality of a product can be ensured. Butting portions of blank members (1,2) to be joined together are butted and a predetermined butting load is applied to the butting portion, wherein the blank members (1,2) are moved relatively in the direction of the welding line thus matching the butting portions. Protrusions and recesses formed on each butting portion of each blank member (1,2) are flattened, whereby linear precision at each butting portion of each blank member (1,2) is enhanced as compared with a case where the butting portions are not matched. Since the gap is reduced extremely at the butting portion, welding is facilitated at the butting portion. Good welding beads are thereby obtained at the butting portion and the quality of a product is ensured.
